Oh... that clueless, eh?  Once your here, just ask around 'till you find the BTS, or skytrain, we call it. Next, shoot for the station named Siam. Once you make it that far, the rest is a piece of cake.
Get off the train at Siam and look out on either side of the platform. One side will be open, while the other will have you facing a hulking wall of a mall. Siam Paragon Mall, to be exact. From there, if you look to the left you'll see a smaller, four-story mall sharing an inviting courtyard with a fountain in the foreground. That one is: Siam Center. Now, to the left of Siam Center is Siam Discovery. Yup- the three malls are side-by-side. Kinda nifty, eh?
Good luck getting that seat your after.

Hi Tango,
The directions there are spot on - you cannot get lost by the BTS. IMHO, I haven't seen any preference on the part of TGs for the Skytrain or taxi, but quite a few don't seem to trust the subway, thinking it will flood like some Hollywood disaster movie. The times I went were both in the afternoon (empty), and in the early evening about 7:00, when it was about 1/4 full. Like Jimmyredcab said, the attendance seems to strongly depend on the time of day, and of course, the type of film showing. I never found it uncomfortably cold, but just cool enough. I love the place! Enjoy.

The seats in that cinema are not condusive to getting close to your girl. The ones in general population are much better for that, since arm rest can disappear. No such luck in that place.

We are talking about a Gold Class Seat with sofa and blanket, right? Isn't sofa suppose to be medium size for both to cuddle together or is there another "sofa" that I'm not aware of? I thought the whole purpose of a Gold Class Seat was to give the couple a night to remember... Am I assuming something differently?? Oh boy, I'm only five days away and I'm questioning my research finding...

Sorry, I think we are talking about different places. I saw King Kong at the theatre in MBK. Paid the 500Bt for the little pimp theatre there. It has these fancy seats, blankets, and filled with only farangs.
It was comfortable minus the freezer action, but those seats are made for solo ops, and not getting close to your girl.
I much rather just go for the normal seating, at a normal temperature. If a place is that cold for a farang, you are not going to get near your TG anyways, as she will be bundled up like an eskimo.
Movies are always better back at your apartment anyways.

Tango- some of the Gold Class let you choose Sofa OR Lazy Boy recliner. But most are outfitted with Lazy Boy recliners. Armrests x2 makes for a challenging snuggle.

hey guys,
Yes like skip said they are lazy boy recliners, but considerd in this place as a sofa type seat, they do have the lounge chairs avalible for a couple but there is usally only 2 or 3 of them across the back row of the movie theater. gold class at siam is not lounge chairs. but they are full recliners...

Baquawn, do apologize for my stupidity. After yours, Skip, and Ripmaster explanation, I understand your earlier statement. Just disappointed that Gold Class Seat is not what I had expected, but this is BKK.... Land of Smile...

The normal seating at the Emporium Cinema is fine, modern, and comfortable. Plus there is no problem sitting close to your girl. It is not like you are going to bang the girl in there anyways. Use the extra change that you don't spend on those 500x2 tickets to buy more important things like food and beer.
