is patently absurd as well as wrong. Earth's total land mass is 57,269,000 Square Miles. We know a square mile contains 640 square acres, or total acreage of all land mass is equivalent to 2,494,637,640,000 (almost 2.5 trillion acres). Considering there are 6 billion people in the world that equates to over 415 acres per person alive today. This is another of those stats bandied about by the environmentalists to scare people into thinking we are facing a population crisis when in reality the earth could EASILY support 15-20 billion people.
