See you tommorrow ok? I've joked with girls that I am butterfly, and if they think that's something not good, I smile and say bye. Lately they say the standard shit, "where you from", I say Fort Knox Kentucky. "What your name", my name ATM , Baht boy, "you here for buisness", yes monkey buisness. Now for some I know this intellectually superior stance may elulde the less refined, however I find the dialogue quite effective, and result producing.

I have given this incident some further thought, and have concluded it really had nothing to do with being a butterfly after all. However, as Arcadius pointed out, it was very much about keeping up appearances.
Let me explain...
I gave both girls what they requested for LT, but LT1 happened to ask for considerably more than LT2. Although I thought LT2 was attractive, LT1 was absolutely stunning.
I don't understand Thai, so I can't say for sure what the girls were talking about, but I recall LT2 holding up two fingers (I gave her 2K for LT). If butterflying was the issue, then LT1 should be offended. However, LT1 was all smiles and LT2 was pissed for losing face in front of her friends by getting less for sleeping with the same guy.
It's OK to butterfly guys, just don't let the ladies find out how much you're paying them.
I feel I've gotten ripped off here. I didn't do anything wrong, but I get screwed. Or, even worse, I DON'T get screwed (in the morning).

Also, if you are going to butterfly, try (and I know this is hard to do), try to be loyal to 1 girl in each bar, there are so many other girls in other bars that you can actually afford to do this. This way, nobody loses face, nobody gets hurt, and you still get to go with as many girls as you want.
Tyler's dead right - that's really ALL there is to it. The BGs already know full well that you're a butterfly. What they're really trying to do is sus out your basic attitude. If you take the "it's my money, my holiday, I'll do what I want and your feelings don't matter" line, then you might just as well come straight out and say "cut the crap, you're just a whore". You may not realise that's what you think, but you do, and they'll know it - and in all likelihood, make you pay for it. At any event, this is certainly NOT the way to get the best out of your BGs.
I employ Tyler's 'shhssh' technique a lot - in fact, in response to all questions about having a wife/GF, butterflying, etc etc. This has several advtanges: 1) you don't have to lie to them (this probably matters more to you than to them), 2) they get the answer to their question, 3) they don't know 100% for sure, so in the typical Thai manner, they have no difficulty putting this on the mental back burner and not worrying about it further. Anyway, it works.

Tyler & Arcadius, I can assure you guys I'm not insensitive towards the girls' feelings, and I'm willing to go out of my way to insure they save face. Can't prevent their little competitions, though.
Vagas, I'll be looking for LT5 tonite. But LT4 last night I'd been with before, on my last trip to Pattaya. Always enjoy going back to her. Told her I had to butterfly to keep from falling in love with her (true). She understands.

It costs lots of money, and can lead to ""looking like a p.o.w. in iraq"" (see bag on head) if she is evil- evil, not semi evil, that might mean dick chop. Often it is heard as a joke the above threat "'i chop off your dick if you butterfly"' some actually do. As for the butterflying thing its natural for men, and woman will always feel scorned. So dont as some dimwits do, have messages pop up on screens of internets, phones, etc. Make it your art form (deception)
