Been there done that but I just leave the girls when things happen if I dont know the girl for a loooooooooong time. As to the guy.. So this is a farang, with no money, unemployed, in BKK, staying in her 2k per month room.. This does not sound like the kind of guy thats going to have influential friends and backup..
From that conclusion your just dealing with one angry guy.. in that case (personally) I dont worry.. violence is never pretty but one on one is not likely to result in anything worse than a punch up.. As others have said, the kind of person that makes threats on the phone is nearly always the kind of person that will do nothing about it.
Now if this guy was connected and had a group of mates etc then I would follow the advice of using TPE to check him out and let him know he is being watched.. Knowledge is power and the more you know about him, his hangouts, his habits etc makes it easier to neutrilize him if it does get nasty.

Perhaps its just my experiences but I have found that given careful handling respect and fidelity Thai women can make great long term life partners and be as faithful as any other nationality, you just have to be careful in your selection and use your head..
The 3rd Thai girl I ever slept with became my first wife and was faithful and quite simply an angel until she passed away... This was a girl who was a 'top girl' in Patong and had since graduated to earning 6 - 10k Euro's per month as a headline stripper in a Euro show...
She gave the life up including a husband and sugar daddy 2 weeks after meeting me.. Walked out on a life she had taken years to build up carrying a couple of suitcases never to look back... Went from Gucci and Prada and major cash on the hip to H&M and meager housekeeping !!!
Theres a million horror stories but I do believe that if you make a full time commitment to many BG's they make a full time commitment to you... Play with them and play the field, let them keep working, what do you expect ???

I do agree with that assessment, but I also don't believe in pining over that 'one' girl that got away, or that got angry at you, or whatever, when there are so many others to move on to in order to find the right one.

Fair enough... Just seems that the thread starter has a girl he likes and is being scared off by an old boyfriend... Thats not the same as the one that got away...
Also I know this is a monger forum but I think too many people read 'Private Dancer' and see some FR's on here and come away with the impression that EVERY BG / GoGo Girl / etc is a scheaming whore. To be honest that attitude and tone pisses me off quite a bit (I realize your post was not like that and I am not reacting at you)...
I know lots of BG's as friends as I was monogamus for a long time yet am a night person by nature... Once they tested me and found I would not be trying to f_ck them but would buy the odd drink or even bar fine them so we could all go party / disco / whatever it became a very different setup than many guys see...
So knowing many of these girls on a long term non sexual level it does irritate me to see them get spoken about so badly by many members.. So you (and by that I dont mean hzink) just want a f_ck and nothing more.. Fine !!! But dont cop the attitude as the worse they are treated the less diamonds are left among the pebbles.
Me I treat ALL the girls I meet exactly the same as I would girls in any other part of the world.. I show some respect.. Buy them the odd drink.. Have a laugh and if anything feels like it clicks I try to f_ck them... Admitedly its easier here than many places but thats not the attraction for me.. I genuinely find asian women more beautiful and feminine than others I have met on my travels and am back in the scene until I find another diamond.
Anyway sorry for the rant...
