Vox, unfortunately doesn't do the trick...
I have him on ignore, so he can't read my messages and I can't read his.
But he continuously asks one of his buddies (who for the most of them are on my ignore list) to quote my messages and then still posts relating to my posts.
He's such a pest.... where's the verminator?

With the proper network based spam filter, you don't even see the adverts - you only see a blank line, so I don't even notice any ignored member.
The solution to Doc's problem of ignored members circumventing the ignore function by getting others to copy his posts to them is easy -- keep ignoring them. If they go through extra work and effort, inconveniencing others to read your posts despite being on ignore, then you win, either way.

I don't mind ignoring certain members, but as you know (it happened to you too) if they say something bad about you then there is no way to defend yourself and other members do not know you're ignoring each other.

Valid point -- but honestly, why would we care if some low-life says something 'bad' about us? "Consider the source" is what I say.
Of course, alternatively, we could always add our ignore lists into our signatures, so others would know who we are ignoring - though, honestly, why bother?
I mean, honestly, if some guy posts some made-up stuff about you, the uninitiated reader will really only notice the low-life that keeps ranting about you, and the more they are not graced with an answer, the more it becomes obvious who's in need of therapy

A members ignore list used to show up in the profile, then for some reason BK choose to hide it from view to all. I think the ignore list should be visible
