There are just no guarantees for what the future may hold for them. I take that back, there is one little lady that I can give a 100% iron clad guarantee on and that's brother TPE's daughter. I have no doubt that what the future holds for that little lady will be something more in the line of law or medical school. That's one guys. Peace

you bought back an unpleasant memory with your comment.
when Sa showed me the picture of her children,i was struck by the beauty of her daughter.
some of the board members have seen the picture and agreed.
i made a flippant remark about me coming back in 20 years and looking for her daughter in one of the bars.
Sa just looked at me and burst into tears and i tried to find out what was wrong,but she just shrugged me off and ran upstairs to her room.
the other girls rounded on me wanting to know what i had said.
i knew obviously,but was'nt sure why she got so upset.
i wanted to speak to her,but the girls said maybe not a good idea and it might be better if i left and let things cool down for a while,which i did.
returned later that night and saw Sa and said i was sorry,and Sa explained why she got so upset.
Sa was 34 and did'nt start doing this work until she was 32.
i never got her life story out of her,she just said due to things in her life,she had decided the only way to make money was to come to Phuket and go with men.
she was one of many who hated doing what she did,but needed the money.
she told me every spare satang was sent home for her children and she was determined both of them would learn good English,have a good education.
she was determined her daughter would not have to do this sort of work,and was trying to do everything now for her daughter,so that in the future Tlay would be a GTG.
she told me that she was so determined to keep her daughter out of the bar scene,she would be prepared to kill her.
she was adamant she would do all she could.
i was very humble about my remark.
