Hi Edge,
Don't get me wrong, I love it here! The point of my post was to ask other brothers that have been here for a while if they find themselves needing more and more diversion and depravity to get their physical and mental rocks off. I certainly find it to be true...not that there is anything wrong with that. lol

i've got to agree and disagree on some points here.
I was going to start a thread like this after my last trip t los,
i'm there 5 times a year, on arriving 2 nights in BKK and on leaving another 2 nights, in the middle with wife and kid in esarn,
On my last trip had a FL from nana disco, a girl from barons 2 girls at CP2 and a few from here and there,
but the best was getting a BJ from a maid at an airport hotel.
which made me think that i'm fed up with cheap and easy sex,
don't get me wrong, I love sex, but when it is so easy quote " a kid soon get's sick when free in a candy shop"
And after a recent visit from a friend of mine (thai) he told me why waste your time with these girls when there are real beauties to be had if one goes up market.
so on my next visit that is what i'm going to do.
If like myself you can speak good thai you don't need the girl to speak english.
ST/ is good for a while or to satisfy a need, but i'm always looking for something different the harder one to get, a challenge,

I have found that after 5 years in SEA I have settled down to going out with my regulars and only occasionally taking a fling on the "Wild Side".
It is sort of like the story told of Hershey. When he started in chocolate factory he let his line employees eat as much chocolate as they wanted. Within a few weeks pilferage dropped to zero and no one working for the factory wanted to eat chocolate.
Also, Bob Fosse did a good perspective on this subject in his autobiographical play/movie "All That Jazz"...

We're not in a chocolate factory nor a sweety shop or a shoe shop or any other shop where you can buy a single type of product.
Perhaps a closer comparison (if you need one) would be that we're in a hypermarket (the biggest one you can find) where there's chocolates (dark, milk, raison'n milk, 80% coco etc.) then there's the milk (full fat i.e. big tits n' bum!, low fat i.e. skinny BGs, extra protein i.e. those that swallow etc.) there's shoes, clothes and in some you can arrange insurance, buy a car rent a house etc., etc.
If you are only eating chocolates (one type of BG) then you will get sick, bored etc., very quickly but if you have available a whole mess of other choices then the time to reach boredom, vomiting etc., is a long way off and some folks might not ever get there!

I am not sure that I understand that there is a problem...Essentially you are just normal. As for the"thrill" of the chase I only found that tiresome ever even in "Jerkwater" USA where I'm originally from. I too hale from the West Coast now. I am working on a plan to fix that though. More on that later.
We in the west are brought up with a generally unnatural view of sex between two consenting adults or a guy and a few more adults, if you like. People aren't meant to live as we do here. Natural order always eventually reasserts itself as well.
Go check out Angkor Wat, Aztec, Mayan or Egyptian pyramids, Chinese palaces, take your pick. I challenge you to find anything other than an aberrant ruler that doesn't cover the walls with beautiful women. Hundreds generally more if he could afford them, all waiting to service his every need.
We on the other hand wail and whine and wring our limp wrists over a little Thai spice. For f***'s sake... 
They are adults and no one is getting hurt. I think it is okay to reflect about it though.
I never treat any BG or other lady partner with anything but kindness and respect if I am treated the same way. If after the course of things I am being treated badly I just move on as quickly as possible.
Basically life appears to be shorter than I would really like. Given that and the fact that upon reflection I have and continue to enjoy the Jasmine fever a great deal I see no problem at all with it.
If I were to have looked back and felt bad then I would have explored why and tried to change something moving forward. Anyway you sound healthy to me, but you have to consider the source.

Thanks for the feedback. Again, I'm not saying that there is a problem, I'm asking if other brothers find that themselves needing more and more to be satisfied as I do and where it will all end.
As you mentioned however, you do need to consider the source, my perspective on the world is a little different having been in Asia for a few years but that is a good thing.
I had Jasmine Fever back when I was in a small town in the US with nary an Asian lass to be found. That's misery. Here I've learned to live with the illness.

Thanks Thumper. I meant me as "the source" though. 
Anyway it is just natural in my opinion. An unmet need becomes an obsession. Once the need is well and truly met and the subject becomes satisfied they tend to hit balance or equilibrium. Kind of clinical but I would argue true. Anyway it is just my opinion...
As for the fever, well I have taken a real shine to it as they say back home...
