I think more then the clothes, is tbgs choice of makeup. I once thought tbgs were taught some "goofy tbg style" to doing their makeup, and they didnt know any better. Now, after sponsoring a girl that relied on 40k month makeup expenses, the better makeup can transform a girl to new levels.
Its kind of surprises me that many tbgs dont chose to wear good makeup. They see all the hiso girls, models, and the fashion magazines. Plus, it only takes one sucker a month to take them to Emporium and spend 20k at Bobby Browns or Perscriptives. How hard could that be?

Right the complete transformation seems to take a lot of alcohol on the customer's side, but beware the hang-over can be quite shocking!

I have seen a lot of garish makeup jobs and outright slutty or sloppy outfits on BGs, but there are quite a few that present themselves very stylishly, even in the so-called 'cheaper sois'.
I'm pretty fussy about what hangs off my arm, so I try to look half decent myself (don't know how I do though, beauty is in the eye of the beholder..no?)
I never BF anything with the Marylin Manson thing going on, and if they get their makeup right, generally they know how to dress.
I really don't care how the other punters dress, up to them LOL.
