Very interesting read, I'd like to know where some of those bars/gogo's are as I haven't seen them.
I especially liked the conclusion with this closing statement:
"Thailand has acquired an international reputation as a country where illegal businesses can flourish because of poor law enforcement. This is bad for Thailand's international reputation."
I think the journalist is a little off the mark, as its not "poor law enforcement" IMHO - but rather arbitrary enforcement based on $$ Better salary for the police will go some way in combating this as well as a strong internal policing. But it will take a lot to change such a strong culture that is well and truly entrenched.

I would buy from dipolmas unlimted -can find on the web.they give perfect copy plus transcripts with watermakrs and seals.The paper is the same stock as whatever school you want. they also provide service if some one wants to check. but hey there are many real schools that give credit for work exper.ect and can get a B.A very quickly. In Japan where I work,many teachers last March where caught with phony dipolmas,detained for fraud,made to repay all back wages and then sent home with an ah shit stamped in their passport
