Little Johnnies increase in airport taxes is very little compared to the increase in wages ( less tax and better exchange rate), so thanks to his economic management I can spend 8 weeks a year in LOS / Vietnam instead of 5 before,,,,, see you there,,, I guess you will be the one sipping gin "my dear fellow".

Aussie's economy is in better shape now than ever? blimey! things must have been grim in the past. never been burdened with AUS$200+ of airport taxes when purchasing an international flight ticket. Johnny & gang must have a right laff at you guys. Luckily for you the Chinese and other Asian who have stormed the Lucky Country do have a good work ethic and pick up from where the the previous European labour's influx had left.

$200 tax at airport is peanuts,, Little Johnny has added more than $300 to my fortnightly apy packet .
The Euros that came here are finally being bred into Australian culture not so much useless wogs anymore. The Asians for a MOST part are useless and lazy once they know what they can get away with,, but things are tightening up everywhere,, bludger jobs are gone.
Economy is much improved from the boddy great mess the Labour party left behind,, although not back to the good old days when the Aus dollar purchased $1.27 US.

It’s hilarious when you tuggers & sheilas refer to us as euro-lesso and pompous pommies, as if you weren’t anything but; irony is always lost on you. Australians (the aboriginal that is) have benefited enormously for the industrious skills of immigrants from Europe and now (mainly) China, or as you disparagingly call them WOGs (Western Oriental Gentlemen). It’s when they get integrated with the mainstream society that they become lazy but good at sport - simple-minded and yet loudmouthed; characteristics you are familiar with. Now that you’re beginning to shed the Mickey Mouse economy label and nose tight welfare system, you may begin to resemble a modern style economy.
The latest in the Australian recruit drive in Europe is targeting several tens of thousand of skilled labour, in various European countries (mainly in UK) to aid and sustain the ever increasingly fragile economy growth over here, thus raising much needed revenue taxation to build infrastructures nationwide. Sydney (except the CBD area) has still electricity poles and electrical wires hanging up in the air, as found in 3rd world countries (Thailand and Philippines included). Perhaps you need to travel more and longer but then again with the ever increasing re-colonization of the Lucky Country, you may afford to do this in future.

Well at least we agree on one thing, the aborigines have indeed benefitted from the European labour influx,, more money for those lazy layabouts to suck out of the government ( I mean only 99.9% are that way I met a good abo ONCE).
Our shortages in the labour market are mostly in the lower skilled brackets BUT also Nurses.
The economic reforms by "Little Johnny" have gone a long way to fix some long term problems and if Australia keeps him around for another 4-5 years things will be looking even better.
Tuggers??? I assume you are trying some Aus slang??? But FAILED.
I thank GOD everyday that Europe is so far away and our neighbours are Asian not WOGS.
