I said most ingredients are sourced locally. Lettuce, tomato, onion, bun. The burger itself comes from McD's central processing so it could be OZ or the US.
As it is, it is a crappy burger and not on my diet. But with billions sold every year I would suspect that non-iPhone users eat them too. Anyway, since the Duck has you on iggy references to the iPhone mean nothing...

only 'interesting' item in the burger chart is Hong Kong where the b.mac costs a bit less than in LOS while most other costs are way more say in between 1st & 3rd word aka 2nd world

London is cool, lot of hot girls and fancy bars, hotels and restaurants with good service, hip shops, good ethnic make up, civilized comfortable taxi and all afordable after the sterling crashed so strongly. Nice week end destination by all means if you don't live too far.

London is the shithole of Europe if not the world.
Hot girls ? - Maybe a few, but most have attitudes and think they are better than they are. Unless you hook up with a Northern tart from Liverpool, you could be married and have kids with a TG by the time a London girl even looks at you.
Fancy Bars - Overpriced shit full of people with attitudes. Step outside and you might get knifed, shot or just mugged if you are lucky.
Hotels & Restaurants with good service - Are you on drugs ? Overpriced crap cattering for mug tourists.
Hip shops - great if you want to look like John Lydon.
Good Ethnic Make Up - London is the doss house of Europe - there are no Polish people living in Poland because they are all living in London, 40 of them to a room, not paying tax, and using all our National Health resources, school places and other public benefits. Add a few gang members with shooters and yeh.. great..ethnic make up my arse...
Civilized Comfortable Taxi - About 10 stg a second with an overweight arsehole driver with attitude
Nice Weekend Destination - Maybe if you have been in prison for 20 years.
Give me Bangers any day of the week - I would rather have 1 night in BK than a 100 in London.

anyway's I have found moeny can make most places good.... if you don't have the money, of course you don't like the place. If you had money, I don't think you would post like this.... nothing personal, but bkk is a shithole unless you have money, the ghetto to the nice places is just a function of money.... isaan peasants to hi so girls is just about money, nothing more..... you want garden on soi 7? you get what you pay for........

Come on - you have judged me without knowing me. For your information... lets put it like this... I am not short. Living and working in London, I see a horrible, dirty, unfriendly shithole. Yes money can make any place good to have fun in - I have booked a 3 hour session with a girl next week - is costing me 350 stg !! Yes I can have a good time with my money - doesn't mean that London is great though.
BK might be a shithole - but trust me, London is just as dirty, just as overcrowded but is more dangerous, more expensive and most importantly LESS fun.
As a footnote - please don't make assumptions about how much money someone has or doesn't have, as not only can you upset people - you can make yourself look foolish.

Lots of hot girls in London, about everywhere I walk donwtown. Yeah it's easier to catch a TG, but than I can also f*** the sofa, it's even an easier catch and often I find it as attractive as girls I see in BKK. Just hired an Isaan girl for the office which is actually quite nice for what we ask... but gosh she is ugly... even happened to find my wife attractive when she popped in today... I figured out that was a reaction to the simian look of our new secretary...

Prolly overpriced by BKK standards, nice anyhow, what is the name of that bar in the Langham ?? Even has an edge on Paris 5star hotel bars. Besides I stay only in a few downtown areas but always feel safe in london.

Lot of places serving shitty food most definetely and had most ugly experiences in ethnic restaurants where I suspect the cooks had never been to the country they were supposed to cook the food from.
Spend a bit and you get great mediterranneean food, and probably food from anywhere else in the world, and thanks to non constraining labour laws there are plenty of waiters, usually polite.

Dunno the guy, but there is for all tastes in London, starting with world famous Saville Row. What do you get in BKK? uh?? I wished living in BKK full time I would at least be able to get a decent shirt locally, but no. Besides underwears I need to source all my clothes in Europe. How the fashion industry can be so crappy over here?? I wished Bangkokians were on their way to join Hongkies stylewise but so far they're closer to Yangon inhabitants... even wealthy locals look like they dress out of some charity...

Well, actually I like cosmopolitan cities and prefer much more the mix of mostly white british, eastern europeans and indians than the lots of blacks and arabs we have in paris or the herds of braindead Lao and hardly better thais who are all over the place in BKK

Yous eem to have a probem with cost again, how is the driver supposed to act ? Courtesy is a word that springs to my mind several times a day when in london. And regulary when I hop in a cab.

Good for you. I would actually consider living in London very seriously if UK business was more promising, but it's going downhill there for me. Hence coupled with the falling sterling, it's going to be more and more of a leisure destination.
PS : note that if the tone of this long post is so relaxed, it's largely because I just had a pleasant session with a rather young northern girl in Natharee, BKK has its charms as well.

HMMM.
Sitting in the bar I run in the back streets of North London (yeah it's ritzy), reading romelands rant.
I've just been spending the day with some cool, laid back people. Money hasn't been an issue. It's London. Of course it's not cheap!
I love Bkk as much as the rest of you blokes, but get real romeland.
Stop grunting about how miserable & expensive everything is. It makes you look bad.
The hooker you need to pay £350 to, maybe is over charging you because your coming to the table with a baaaaad attitude.
Drink in Soho, Shoreditch, Mile End, Notting Hill, Brixton etc etc etc (to paraphrase a film banned in the LOS) & of course you will encounter more than your fair share of stuck up pricks & prickesses.
Walk away from it & you will find honest people getting through their days. Same as the world over.
Lighten up & enjoy the vast mass of humanity & you could start having a bit of a better time. Chat to the geezer or the geezerette next to you at the bar. If you're not too much of a scrote, you might find they respond positively. If they don't, move on. Like the world over.
Saying that, can't wait to get back. I know I'm there when I have my firsty thirsty Chang at the Golden bar & some f***wit tries to sell me an outsize Zippo & a map of the kingdom.
