In some scenes in Wom...ah,Tomb Raider it seems that they were filmed in Thailand.

I managed to find a copy of Bangkok Dangerous in my local video store today (Brighton, UK). I thought it was very simplistic compared to western films of a similar genre, lots of mindless violence and very little in the way of plot, character development and dialogue (mostly due to the main character being a deaf mute !!). Worth a watch but not really anything special at the end of the day.

I know this is an old thread but had to make a recommendation - Return to Paradise  Ý
Supposable this movie was based in Malaysia (Great intro - f_cked up ending - will definitely make you think). ÝThe beginning is something special though, reminds me of my times in LOS - minus the hash.

Just saw a porn on TV called Asian Fever that was based in LOS. ÝShowed arial shots of Thailand, street shots (couldn't make out where though) and airport shots. ÝGirls were definitely Thai and looked very nice... Ý

Just called Emmanuelle-
I saw it in 1975 - I should have gone straight to LOS instead of Germany and Italy.
Good music and nice shots of Thailand(I think)
I'd have to see it again to see if it was that bad.
About the only film Sylvia Crystel made that was
even half good. ???
Now chaps I am trying to arrange finance for a film
