SO5, I have only seen the bottle to the head in movies, and never spoke with anyone on the receiving end. Besides hurting a lot, what else? Did the bottle break? Was there blood? Or you think she didn't hit hard enough to break the bottle? I always wonder how easy or hard it is to break a bottle against a living head? I guess a gash will happen before the bottle even breaks. But I really have no clue. Please give us more of the gory details.

I don't think a Fanta bottle would break...
I have personally witnessed 2 bottles broken on other people:
1) Cheap wine bottle broken over cheap wino by bigger cheap wino. (Hollywood, USA)
2) Singha bottle, at LEAST half full, and held as one would normally hold a bottle when drinking, i.e., cupped in the right hand, and SLAMMED against the side of another guys head. ÝBoth guys cut badly, and beer EVERYWHERE...both were Thai. (Saphan Kwai, BKK, Thailand)
If an old Coke or Fanta bottle was actually BROKEN on someone's head, I would bet on a skull fracture. ÝThem babies are THICK...

SO5 My sympathy on the Fanta bottle, damn that would have hurt. ÝWould feel like being hit with a rock.
Bad Experiences? ÝI guess I still cringe when I think about my first visit to Thailand and walking out of Don Muang with "Newbie" written all over me in bright reflective lettering for all to see. Ý Caught by a tout (I thought he was an airport employee) I end up in a "limo" into town with a hard nose driver wanting to take me on a shopping tour tomorrow, or a brothel tonight and who tries to knock-off my duty-free whisky when we unload at my non-guest friendly hotel (Jade Pavilion Hotel Soi 22) Ýwho offer to arrange a woman for me for 500 baht and then charge me a joiner fee the following night when I turn up with a BG because they don't approve of that sort of thing! ÝThe BG is from Dollhouse in Clinton (all gone now) and I end up paying a fortune (including the 500 baht joiner fee) for a LT that that would be a PG-13 rating if they made a movie of it. ÝOff to the market and along Sukhumvit and I buy a heap of clothes and tourist gear and thrive on the thrill of securing a fantastic bargain from the hapless orientals. ÝOnly to find that most items can be had for a cheaper price at the departure area of the airport!
Funny thing though, because it was my first time I really don't blame myself too much - I even have fond memories of my first BG, who probably retired to her own rice farm shortly afterward - they saw me coming and if you are a "newbie", don't kid yourself they'll see you to - so relax we've all been there (well, I have)

URGENT ATTENSION TO EDENS MARC...seems some new info has been handed on(ie my passport ) wait for the howls this is going to bring....... its a holiday here in australia so i wont be able to confirm....but doesnt look good for my original story ,other than she left early....i appearntally left my mobile and leather folder under a WAIT FOR IT ..bar fridge..not in the safe...no money has been mentioned as i have to prove my identiy..it was found 2 weeks ago and my new address traced through my ex.....the eden girl couldnt have hidden it for me...i hope marc appreciates how bad thie makes me look and the fact i am big enough to cop what i am about to cop............sorry.. Tell the girl i will give her 5000 baht (even though she did piss off..as i could have lost her the job there ...and if the money in that quntity is there if youll forgive me will buy a new membership........aw f_ck..i am off to AA or maybe just get a drip.....(SINCERELY SORRY)..ok let me have folks...a very embarassed DG
