Watching latest episode with my (Thai) wife in the UK, and they start talking about LOS being a magnet for single guys, divorced guys, sex tourists etc etc.... 72 year old Brit with facial hair looking like Uncle Albert from Only Fools & Horses comes on (UK bros know what I mean), and says, "where in England can a 72 year old bloke have a drink with a 17 year old girl (arrest that man now)...
.. my wife hits me round the head and shrieks... that's you, that's you !! But I'm no-where near 72 I say... and she says, yes, but you f*** the bar girls... bless her, she is making an effort to know me after all these years

anywhere a 72 yr old would be let into a 'young' pub. Although I have been out of the UK for several yrs when I see the "nightlife" of drunken slappers whoa! Methinks that 72 yr old blke just dont get out much?
Mind you I much prefer Thai and this show is just going to 1, enforce the stereo types that come here and encourage more of the same.

and 40 inch screen? or u mean ur tv? how can u download from the internet and watch it on a 40 inch screen on tv??
and I bet u sit about 5metres away from your 40inch screen so you probably get the same effect as me sitting 1 m away from a 19 inch laptop screen
besides its hardly an oscar winning movie its a crappy tv series! no big deal
buffering? maybe thats your cheap arse connection mate
i clicked on it and watched it straight through with no buffers at all, even it was downloading still no probs, and if u have a problem then start play, press pause, let it download (about 1 min or so) then watch it all
dont be so impatient!
theres no download speed from youtube slow its your connection speed
youtube is free
rapidshare isnt free and wow 16 connections at a time someone is busy downloading crappy tv shows hahaha
relax man dont have a seizure over it, youre not a young guy any more, slow down!!

You might wonder who's having a seizure here.
The fact that you wonder how I can watch something from the Internet on my 40 inch tv, makes me wonder how long you've been living in a cave.
The answer is simple... My tv is connected through hdmi with
my computer. I stream files with the help of a software media player.
And that's nowadays not even necessary. Just buy a HDTV media player and stream files from a portable HD or a USB stick.
Now that's technology...

Thanks to rapidshare I have not bought a single pirated DVD for the past two years. The only DVDs I buy are blanks. It's fun to have half a season of your favorite TV series on one disc.

Living in a cave? More like living under a rock.
Streaming to TVs has been possible for for the better part of the past 2-3 years. Newer TVs let you plug in USB thumb drives and play videos from there.
Please don't make it so bloody obvious how far behind the times you are.

Media players like the HDTV media player from Western Digital are becoming very popular. Connect a USB stick or USB external harddisk to it being connected to your TV and you get a very powerful multimedia solution.

Let me see, 7 seasons will take up 14 discs, at 4.5 B per disc, that's 63 B. I stick to those DVDs for now.  Hey, do you have seasons 1-3 of 24?

Couple of years ago, when I set up my Home theatre, I had bought few of the HP media PC which have HDMI output and hook one up to each HDTV in different rooms. This way I can directly download whatever I want into the PC hard drive, and With Dual-N wifi router I can stream movie from any pc in the network without any delay.
