Although I am not Jewish, a "schvitz" is the yiddish word for a Turkish Bath and/or a steam room. These places offer a hot place to sit and sweat and--optional--you can usually get a "platza" whereby someone (usually Russian) literally beats on you with Oak leaves.
Anyway... enough of the of the cultural lesson... anyone know of a similar place in BKK, Pattaya, etc.?
BTW... I UTFSE, however, "schvitz" was a blank, "bath house" had about a dozen worthless hits, and "spa" gave me over 2000 hits!... too many and too lazy.

Funny I was just thinking about this a couple days ago and I too would love to find a place like this. There are plenty of spas that have steam, suauna and extras but they are not really a place for a schvitz.
For those NYC types, the 10th Street Bath House is an institution for R&R after a hard nights partying and I would think something like this exist here.
Hope someone knows of such a place....

Yea I luv this place too. For me it was never the same once David and Boris split...then came the "clean up" a few years back. But it is still an institution and a must on my trips back to the city....
Any new talent you would recommend there for when I come back in January?
