Does anyone by some miracle have a contact (email or phone) for the air ticket desk on your right as you enter the Internet cafe on the first floor of Times Square on Sukhumvit? I bought a ticket that had to be refunded....

I’ll venture to say that you are using the term 1 s t floor in the non-American colloquial way – in that you mean the 1 s t floor above the ground floor. I venture to say that is a fairly safe bet as I am not aware of any internet café on the ground floor of the Times Square building.

To make matters more confusing, there is a floor below what you call ground floor in the Times Square Building. That is why the Internet Cafe is listed as being on 2F.

Mr. Alan is right. Some nationalities may count as ground floor -> first floor.... other will count first floor-> second floor.
It's the same Internet (True) cafe.
And Pantagruel instead of thanking me for my efforts, you show another form of your intelligence. I did read your post carefully (actually I read it five times to be sure) but then my 'out of the box thinking' went into gear.
The desk is inside the Internet cafe, is it? About 1.5 meters away from the Internet cafe counter.... doesn't take a lot of thinking to ask them to either have you talk with someone from the desk or get their phone number.
I do apologize though for not trying to call this number first to see if it was still obtainable (or is it reachable?).

Also, in the end, to Dr Love for naming the cafe-- I had forgotten it was called True. In fact you can reach the number to receive a message saying that it is unobtainable.
