two large Thai boxing stadiums in BKK....Lumpini and Rachadamnoen. Fights at one or other most nights, Tuesdays is the best night at Lumpini, starts at 18:30. prepare to pay much more than the locals and don't bother to argue, they have been know just to refuse entry. I think thursdays and sunday (afternoon) are the best times at Rachadamnoen.
I haven't been in years, others may more recent info.
Bull fighting in the South is quite an occassion, though I can think of more tasteful pastimes.

True, there are more tasteful pastimes but I'll be there for 7 weeks or so and I'll need some other entertainment between TGs.
