Long time lurker first time poster.
I need to get my feet wet by dipping into the pond. Thought that Newbie was the way to go! Coming out of the USA. I am setting up my first trip to the big Mango in June.
I was wondering what the activity level is like now. I've heard by reading here that a lot of women go home after making the big bucks during high season. I am not sure if this refered to only the more touristy and seasonal areas like Phuket and Pattaya. I know there will be lots of lovelies in BKK. With all you seasoned veterans around; there may only be a few stringy morsels for us newbies. I am interested in hearing any opinions or meandering ravings from guys that are in the BKK area now. This place is no pond. It is an ocean...full of fish...err...girls. There are girls all year round, that will get your head spinning. Anytime is the best time. The only thing you would need to figure out is this, when is the next time you are coming back!

if 1000 girls left Phuket tomorrow how many would remain?,more then all the members of this Forum could cope with.

Welcome to the forum! I'm no Thai pro, but I just got back from my first trip. There were at least 10 girls for every guy in most BKK establishments and something like 20 girls for every guy in Pattaya. I think that should be enough for any mortal man.
I had pretty high hopes before I took this trip, and all were met before we left. Very few trips I've taken can live up to that claim.
June isn't too far away so I doubt much will change before then. Too bad that also includes the heat and humidty. Best of luck with your trip and be sure to tell us how it went once you get back. I'm currently writing a field report myself.

They're right, there's always plenty of girls to go round and then some. During the high tourist season, supply increases to meet the extra demand - that's all.
That said, I think you get better service all round during the off season. Since most BGs don't know where their next customer is coming from, they're keener than usual to 'take good care' of the one they've got.
No need to worry about competition from seasoned veterans. Many of the girls prefer to sink their fangs into fresh meat straight of the plane, since this kind of guy is more likely to deal them an ace.
The trick is to look like fresh meat straight off the plane, but also to know the score (or at least the basics).
