I concured with k.b. on the " two-girl" rule especially if the girl of your fancy does not speak English well. I took a gril in soi33 on my last trip, she was gorgeous but we could not communicate too well. Soon we ran out of things to say. Lukily, she called a friend over to stay with us ( with my permission of course, and for this reason, I like to book my stay with serviced apartment so the rooms are bigger for such "parties"). Even though her friend's English was worse than her, and we still could not communicate by words, it was great fun for the 3 of us. Fun for her because she could now gossip with her friend, fun for me because I am doing both of them. Memorable !! My advice on $$ is that if you are on a tighter budget then yeah, by all means try the beer bars. If $$ is no object and you want to splurge, I will strongly recommend soi33. I disagree that the quality is the same between the soi33 and the beer bar girls. You will save a lot of "shopping" time in soi33 because the "cutie" % is higher. There maybe a gem here or there in beer bars, but you got to have time to walk around and shop. Gulliver is also a "hit" or "miss" place. I go there when I just want to kill some time. The Gentlemen's Club such as Piano, Orbit....etc you should only go there when you are not too "horny" because you most likely will not score with the girl of your fancy on your first couple of trips there unless you can bring a suitecase of $$$ and dump it on the bar (hahaha, I may just try that next time I go to Orbit). If this is your first time, I would try everything. Gogo's, beer bars, soi33, Gentlemen's Clubs, MPs-------the list goes on then you will be able to decide what your own "niche" is. It took me 4 trips to figure out most things and now I know where to go for different moods. But it's hard to explain all the nuances here. So just go try everything at least once and you will soon find your preferences.

If I tell her I'm looking for a "GFE" will she know what I mean? Would it be worth it to write a paragraph about myself and what I'm looking for, and have it translated into Thai on an index card, and show it to the girls I meet?

Most of the BG have a limited grasp of English. You can write up a card saying your a true asshole and for the most part it wouldn't matter. She will agree she everything you want even if she isn't as long as the money right.

Got back from my first trip two weeks ago. Got all my
info from the forum. First write things down--locations, places ect--helped me. I did SC, NEP, Beer Bars, Eden, Soi 33 and Patong--did not really enjoy Patong--Each his on though. Oh yea Phuket also.
Had a couple of wonderful GFE--The suggestion of two girls is good b/c of the languange thing. Met two lovely TGs at a little beer bar called the Goldeneye around Soi 13. Partied-bought quite a few Lady Drinks--may have had one padded bill--I suggest when you get up to 6 to 9 drinks total pay the bill and then start over. You will see what I mean. Your little bill cup fills up quick. Anyway spent two full days with these ladies and was with each over the two nights. Tell them what you want to do and they will find it--ie playing pool or what ever. We bought only food from the stands--very cheap and they enjoy it as well as myself. We drank at other bars so no lady drink prices. We never discussed over night prices--i left them 1000 B for the overnight encounter and they were more than thank ful. We spent both nights dancing first at the Nana Disco and second at a place called Country Road on Soi 19 and Suk. Great, friendly place with a live band--good for noncrowded fun for a date like encounter. After closing grab a bite to eat at a stand on Suk. Good for sobering them up after drinking--plus a entertaining enviroment--many nonBFed BGs out for a bite after work.
I met these girls in the afternoon--no presure--If you donot get a good vibe no problem to leave. A little suggestion if you do go out with these type of TGs and your out partying with others or there friends be sure to make them your focus of attention. They are your GF's for the night--I made the mistake of flirting with others, buying drinks and dancing. One of my girls may had lost a little face and we had a small emotional experience back at my hotel whiched we cleared up and ended with warm hugs and kisses. I lost sight these two girls were meeting all my needs getting me drinks and always making sure I was comfortable. Go ahead and enjoy the company of others but always come back two them and give them a hug and kiss on the cheek so others will know you are with them. They enjoy the special attention and it will pay off back at your room.
On my last night I BF'd a nice girl from the Mandarin at NEP. Very friendly girls--had dinner on the street with my girl an 4 others. Back at my room had a great time and had breakfast in the morning--would have been a great GFE but no more time. I even called her when I got back to the USA. She did not answer, must have been busy b/c she called me back in the states direct a few minutes later--what a surprise--wanted to know when I'll be back. Have be nice and it will come back to you a 1000 times

Just me and my notes--the places I went to were not in my notes. So there is always something new to discover. I always carried a small spiral note pad with a pen--very good for phone numbers and names.
