I was very much a BKK newbie on my first visit in July this year. After some fumbling in the start (my first LOS experience was Phuket the year before, and there I had no problem with not discussing the price in front), I landed on this tactic:
In go-gos I always quouted 2000 baht for LT and was only turned down once (but that was before price haggling; she did not want to go LT). CG tought me some tricks here. It helps to be decisive: I will give you x baht and you will stay with me until x hour. If she say no there is a lot more fish in the sea.
In beer bars I usually asked her what she expected to get for a LT. In some cases she said 1500, one even 1000 baht.
On my next trip I will also add a question: Do you wear sneakers? Research has proven that girls wearing sneakers have the lowest starfish ratings.

If you wonder along Sukhumvit betwixt 2AM-530AM, you can get FL ST easy for 300bht, even a stunner if you ok looking. They are hanging around for extra money. 100% of my experiences with these FLs have been very nice. Clean, good attitude, and fairly innocents.
Best place for a ST, is at the bustop infront of Nylert Plaza (Tony Romas) after 3AM. Those are the FLs and BGs going home to upper Sukhumvit, Thonglor, Prakanong, or Samut Prakan. All you do is smile. If they smile back, it is a done deal and probably under 500. BE WARNED, the katoeys hang out in packs against the wall and they are a f***ing nusiance.

Looked for a more suitable place for this update but none springs to mind. I happened to need the services of the Playboy ST hotel this evening. Just wanted to report that prices have remained the same despite the cost of most things in Thailand having doubled. 240 baht for a ST. Highly recommended. The room had 6 mirrors & the pommel horse f***ing appliance.
Now hopefully the serial stalkers are not right behind me.

Some of ya'll must have some bad luck or something. I've never had a problem with the FL LBs as far as attempted pickpocketing, crotch grabs or anything else remotely criminal.

My original question,i thought was fair,as to current prices, (November 2004)
A reply from some DOPE,named Dr Love,saying "Up To You" is a usleess piece of info.
"Up To You",could range from 1 baht to 1 million baht.
But thanks for your reply Hzink,it was well worth the wait.
To the other guys that helped with USEFULL INFORMATION,i thank you,and I now understand why I find this forum a must.
