1) No 2) Marked as in the name of the station,, it does not say " cheap sex here". 3) Maps of sky train and under-ground train all OVER the internet. 4) Nana stop is near Soi NANA which has Nana plaza there, you could find about 700-800 girls around there. I recommend,,,,,, 1) Get a taxi to your hotel, drop of bags have a nice shower. ( you don't want to add credit to the "smelly farang theme). 2) Get taxi to Sukhumvit soi 7 and visit EDEN club,, pay your 3,500 BHT and you will have a great time with 2 gals,, they will blow your socks off!!!!!! Now that you are relaxed, wander around to the sky train get a map, read this forum and decide which of the thousands of Adult entertainment places you want to visit next.

I know this is the newbie section, but.. really..shouldn't people at least do a bit of research before coming to Thailand first time? Questions about getting a sky train from the airport are just a waste of people's time. As for the OP, it sounds like you're desperate to take a Tuk Tuk ride. OK, do it. Once. Then be sensible and travel everywhere by taxi or, if there is a direct route, Sky Train or MRT.

Quote: from Mel Gibson on 7:38 pm on Sep. 4, 2005 Tuk Tuks are for newbies and fun the first few times. I must agree about the sky train being excellent, but I often find myself on the back of a motor-bike taxi,, cheap, fast, even in traffic and in my opinion very safe ( 45-50 trips not a single incident).
I've taken motor-bike taxis hundreds of times.... several times every day. While I haven't been in an accident yet, I've witnessed 4 or 5 motor-bike accidents in my couple of years living in BKK. Cheap and definitely fast but not particularly safe. Weaving in and out of traffic is bound to end up in an accident sooner or later. MM: Sukhumvit to the tourist areas of BKK (Pantip, Pratunam, Patpong, etc) isn't very far at all. Skytrain is get you to each without worrying about traffic. 100 - 200 B is too much for those trips in a tuk-tuk (but the driver'll quote you that much or more). All of those trips are easily under 100 B. And about taxis, stuck in a traffic jam doesn't have too much impact on the charge. When the taxi isn't moving, the meter goes up at an extremely slow rate. It's just a bitch being stuck in traffic. SirTitus

Monkeysex, As you will be in such a hurry for a BJ after touch down my advice is. 1. Hand carry luggage only. 2. Reserve seat near the door. 3. Have hand carry under the seat in front of you. 4. Be 1st off the plane. 5. Have immigration filled out. 6. Have passport, immigration form and boarding pass easly to hand. 7. Choose a queue without familys with kids, as these take longer. 8. Fix a set price with cab to include toll charges, then raise it to ThB400 and tell to go like f--k. They usualy do on a fixed price deal. 9. Have your passport ready for hotel checkin. 10. Dont bother showering you will get one at Edens, Barons, Tulip or where ever you f--king go. My record is 45min from touch down to a beer in hand and LBFM on my knee in Big Dogs. UKP.

When getting around BKK you have to figure out what is going to be the quickest way to get there. That might be by a combination of Sky Train, Subway, Taxi, or Motorbike Taxi. Another important thing to consider is which side of the street you get a taxi to where you are going. Just walking to the other side of Suk to get a taxi going in the right direction, can save lots of time and hassle. Many times the Motorbike taxi is the quickest way through traffic in an area not along the sky train or subway. Compared to the rest of the world. Taxis in BKK are a dream. Rarely will you ever have a guy not using the meter on you in the heart of the city. All reasonable 1 and 2 dollar fares to get where you are going most of the time. Experience will be the only way to figure out the best transportation, but NEVER USE A TUK TUK. You can however pay back tuk tuk drivers for all their bullshit during Songkran, because they make great targets sitting in traffic!
