If I may suggest;
1) Study the threads on where the brothers go, then go.
2) Go to the "Members Schedule" section to find out who's in town, during your stay.
3) PM them and invite them for some fun. If they return your mail, and sound halfway intact, PM back with time of arrival and real name you are booking under and which hotel.
4) Get their details as well.
5) Arrive with plans to meet up with your new friends. If you say you'll meet them, show up on time, be polite.
6) Buy them a beer, or a lunch. Then tell them to do the same.
7) Avoid wasting money on "guides", it's all right here on the forum just got to flip the pages dude.
8) Choose a hotel close to the action, it's a waste of time to travel two hours in choking traffic, and arrive sweaty and dehydrated and exhausted before the fun even begins.
9) Avoid touts- use your own research and decision making skills, a firm "no" is universally understood to mean "no". Don't break stride on the street when strangers approach to sell this or that, or saphires whatever.
10) Smile alot and often, you'll be amazed how far it gets you.

I will be on my 35th visit to Bangkok this Friday for five days & I think it's about time I met some of you guys. I normally spend most of my time in BKK on my own but I may need some company this time as I am considering parting company with my Thai friend of the last 6 months. I don't want to but I don't think she has the same feelings for me (or at least she has not communicated them to me) so I think it is best to pull the plug to save additional heartache down the road. I will miss her but a few beers with guys intent on having fun should help to pull me round. Any offers (I am particularly partial to Soi 33 & NEP) ?
p.s. I know this is not the best place for this message but I have tried to use the member's schedule a couple of times & have never managed to find my name assigned to the list. I am clearly doing something wrong!
