Thailand vitually comes to a standstill when the world-cup games are on, - as they all are shown here live, usually late afternoon - and when Man -U turned up in Bangkok just to practice earlier this year, 40,000 fans turned out to watch !!! 99 % of taxi drivers cant speak English, but 100% know "David Bek ham" and "Mik en Ow en" ... no shortgage of passion here ! and of course they all cheer when a goal is scored, no matter by what team !

Not sure where Thailand figure in international matches, but if there was a championship for eating, my ex TG and her friends could lead the world. I could spend 7 days with her, and she consistantly ate twice as much as me. But still she remained 45 KG, and I struggle to keep down to 90Kg. But thiis is one of the things that make TG's so attractive.

Guess no shortage of places - everywhere there is a TV it will be on the soccer !! - note the pool bar down soi 7, has a waterfall affair in the window, seems popular, has a large screen, plenty of Girls around, and of course in a good locale, near Nana and almost opposite the Beer garden. Re eat, yeah reckon they could eat for thailand at the olympics some of these girls ... !
