Hey now, it's just a simple question in the newbie section: for multiple stops and waits, does one hire a driver for a portion of the day or hail a cab at every stop? Personally I'd hail a cab at every stop unless you're still trying to impress her (and hiring a driver matters to her).
Here's my two baht on the other issue: spend your first two days finding a BG that will accompany you to the airport to meet your "GF", and introduce her as your other GF but only when GF #1 is in Wales.

Just wait till I head over to Puerto Galera to scuba dive and hang with the filipina GF for about a week after a few days in BKK. If that doesn't blow this one out of the water, nothing will.

I will pass one of the tricks I learned from my GF on my last trip to BKK. When leaving the airport do not take a taxi from the ground floor departures. Instead go upstairs to arrivals and get in a cab someone got out of. No airport fee and better quality (good A/C) taxi's are available. She told me the taxi's downstairs are poorer quality.

Not entirely true but a grain of truth here.
In Arrivals you join the scrum down queue which can get pretty lengthy and take it in turns to be shoved into a taxi which can be up to 12 years old and hard worked at that. You have no choice over which wreck you take.
In Departures you can illegally hail a taxi, choosing a modern one maybe.
The disadvantages are that this is illegal and you will ned to be able to make teh driver understand whre you want to go without the help of the lady at the taxi desk. Not something which will daunt most readers.
If you take a taxi to the airport he will only be able to wait 5 or 10 minutes before he is moved on by security. Far better to hire a new ride from the Arrivals level.
If you want to hover outside GF's apt. then fine, teh driver will keep the meter running whilst your terruk gabs on to her mates etc.
Lastly, I think it is very sweet that you are not jealous of the Welsh lover. Doubtless she will understand about the Filipina GF and your ST bouts in Nana whilst she is out shopping or cooking dinner. Introduce the idea of 2 nights a week when she has to go home so you can party with a couple of friends in your room. I am sure she will be more than happy.

Unless you can get someone to drive you to the airport. Wait forever for her to clear customs, then I recommend you take a taxi.
Since she was boinking her bf in Wales, I recommend you go there looking very tired. If she says what happened to you... tell her you were ST or LT someone and just had time to get there to pick her up.
Better yet, why don't ST or LT someone prior to picking her up, and just tell the truth.
