excellent effort...I drove yesterday from Thong lor to Suk 70....7.9km...another 2 or so from Thong Lor to soi 15.....that's 10km you walked.
Double or quits you won't do it again?

The obvious answer to the original question is "klai " (near) or klai_ ( far). Taken me more than 10 visits to here the difference.

My god, listen to yuprude the neysayer disbelieving that someone could walk such a distance.
Let me guess, I bet you are an overweight office worker, sitting in your cubicle, peeing into a cup because your to lazy to walk to the toilet. I bet you got a pink coated donut in your god right now hey.
As for walking, how far do you think this is Yuprude, but I guess I never really did it. Nobody could really walk somewhere...could they ?
On one of my quests in Bangkok I walked from Cnr Asoke to nana, then back to soi 26, then soi 22, then 22 to rama 3 then to soi 24, then 24 to Sukhumvit again. Then to Thong Lor, then back to Phrom Pong, then up soi whatever it is near the subway about halfway and back. Then I got the skytrain because I was buggered.
