There are some freelancers nowadays that insist on payment beforehand. I've never run into them, but MP girls often tell me that when they do freelance, they'll sometimes ask for pay up front if the customer is suspect. There are some guys out there that like to lick and leave.
In MPs, it depends on the place. I like to pay first (before I've been introduced to the girl I picked) so I can just stroll out without having to pay in front of her after we're acquainted. Also, if it's the last round of the day (say... after 11pm), often places would ask you to pay first since all the accountants are heading out. However, if it's a VIP suite situation, the general rule is to pay when ya'll are all done for the day.

Last time i was in bkk i made up a new plan...
i'm an anal rider and as such i dont want to waste time with girls using the "wrong" hole, so i hooked up with a girl and asked her for the special favours, i told her that i wanted to pay her a 1000bht pr day if she stayed with me for a week....after a few days i gave her 10 000 bht that means 3000 ekstra, and i never had sex like that b4
and i found that it's a good tactic to agree a price, and after a few days give them the full amount...+ some ekstra, makes u look good and honest, but i suggest that u keep away from freelancers if u'r thinking abt paying upfront.

Personally, I'd give it to her if the price hadn't been agreed to before hand -- as long her request wasn't too extreme. I'd pay her with the implicit understanding that that was the last time we did business together and indeed it would be.
