Ballsburstin

Finally rode the "baht buses" with my TGF during my last "tour of duty" in BKK. Lotta fun, actually. Since I already have a "kapok kep ngun" (sp?) that I keep change in my own car here at home, it was fun to see 'em in action on the buses. In particular, found bus #115 a good venue to get to/from Lumpini Park at 7 Baht for the both of us. Just gotta be a little quick in darting on and off, or you will be crushed like a bug under the wheels, hehehe.
My TGF did tell me about an experience she had on one of these buses a while back. She was sitting down, minding her own business, when she felt this Thai guy (well dressed in a suit) rubbing his crotch against her shoulder. She figured, "maybe too many people," so she moved over in her seat to give him more room. A few moments later her was up to his old tricks again. I asked her, "so what you do?" She said, "get off bus next stop." Hmmm, mighta been worth a quick elbow to his balls on the way up and out, but she's just not that kind of lady.

sorry...missed that one..yes occassional bad traffic, but I usually time my journeys to account for that......and because I don't live in the centre, it certainly isn't as bad where I live. (I walk to work)
Certainly I think Bangkok being so bad traffic wise is overrated if you know where you are going.
