Every year in Thailand it is easier to get more farang goods. I used to come back (I work here) with suitcases full of stuff. Now I bring very little.
Farang sized clothes? Pattaya night market on second road, Khaosan, pratunam. The places where you find tourists, but Sukhumvit and Silom have top prices.
Can buy anything in the pharmacies here.
Shoes and hats that you are comfy with and everything that is not tight to wear to combat the heat.
Obviously wear light coloured, thin cotton during the day.
The girls love things that come from outside Thailand. The more obvious the better. Stars and stripes T shirts!!
Decent sunglasses for you?

Get with the times and ditch your cotton.
On my last trip I took a couple of shirts made from "cool-max" polyester, which were far more comfortable than cotton, as they wick the sweat away from your body. Cotton, on the other hand, traps your sweat and makes you feel lilke sh*t all day.

In Thailand you can buy such things as: Snicker Bars, tooth brushes, tooth paste, hair curlers, sanitary napkins, aspirin, batteries, hair brushes, shoe polish, nail polish, furniture polish, Polish sausage (just kidding), medicine, cough drops and Viagra.
If you have access to a pharmacy near you, why not drop in and see what they have to offer. You would be surprised what is on sale sometimes.
Will this be your first time on an airplane?

I almost forgot, I usually bring some kind of magic slight of hand trick that you can pick up at any gag store, the girls seem to love to be entertained by us.
The last time I went in 2001 I did bring those listerine strips and they were quite surprised when they tried them. At least they wont have insect eating breath, hehe.

They "seem" to love it. Oh boy, aren't they good at pretending!? You gotta like these girls for the good face they put (regardless of what they are really thinking) when we guys, play silly and no matter how foolish we look, they make us feel good and smart.
