Well, one thing we can all agree on: different strokes for different folks. We all have our particular needs, and our particular set of experiences and skills. Other people aren't "wrong"; they're just different. Personally, I resonate with Sealbash's latest comment: "BGs are actually real people. Treat them as such, and you will be well rewarded." I intend to do just that. And yes, that includes "finance" - they live in a particular economic and cultural environment, and they have to eat, too, so I don't disagree with Dr. Love's reminder in this regard. But I don't think - based on hundreds of things I've read and heard - that this precludes the possibility of some wonderful GFE's. If I didn't believe it was possible and that many others have experienced it, I wouldn't be going to LOS in the first place. In the end, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating! However it turns out, I will share it with my brothers on this great site.

You probably would want some good place to take your GFE. If you are staying in bangkok might I suggest Mah Boon Krang or MBK for farangs. On the top floor is a karoke place. Ther is every size room available from 3 chairs to couches with table and lounge chairs. the serve food and if you get a couple of other people with you you can sing the night away. almost every thai like Karoke. And they have thai music and english.
If you are not into Karoke then you might want to try a movie. MBK has several largwe theaters with movie in english with thai subtitles as well as thai movies.

Luke, based on the fact that you seem to want to develop a relationship prior to any sexual encounters, I would recommend staying away from the BGs and focus on non P4P. You sound as if you are determined to find someone who will "respect" you and then take care of your desires. While this is possible with BGs, you may also wind up with someone that will steal your heart in hopes that it is connected to your wallet. If you are willing to take it slow, I would recommend some of the other non P4P bars and see if you can't actually find your GFE with possibly no strings attached (although some of these ladies may have ulterior motives as well). If you pursue this route and have no luck in a few days, you can always head for the P4P scene.
Another reason why I would recommend this route is that you sound as if you want to believe these women are with you because they like you. I actually find myself believing this at times, then I see the 60 year old man walking hand in hand with the 25 year old BG and I always snap back to reality. If you want to eliminate some of this doubt, try the non P4P.
As for myself, I personally like the GG and BG scene because my main motivation is to get laid at the end of the night, but to each his own.
