Dear HJ. Money does not solve all the problems. Sometimes we get fair deals, sometimes we pay too much. It all evens out eventually. The same goes for the girls. Soometimes they get paid the going rate, sometimes much more and sometimes a bit less.
Some might have sponsors and not always looking 100% for money. The girl who offered to go for free maybe trusted that she was going to het paid anyway. And maybe it was her younger friend who was not experienced that she wanted to give a little experience and was willing to even go for free to give her just that.

Could not say it better myself, I do not think I underpaid them, they was the one who put the offer on the table not me, I just accept when they ask me and as BS say I did pay double, so I dont think I did anything wrong.
Maybe becouse im young"27 and not bad looking" was the reason but I dont know, and I normaly do like anyone els do in the bars I dont go around to try a get freebies, or maybe they just want a nice bed for the night, "Marriott" again I dont know but, I know one thing we was having a great time all of us that can I say for a fact.

Gym is right. I did get caught up in the moment. I'm used to getting taken for B12,000 back home and getting NOTHING.
Did I mention that I took my favorite shopping at MBK? Bought her B1500 worth of cloths, B1500 perfume, and B8000 gold necklace. Got home, sent her an e-mail or 2, then she told me she had a Thai boyfriend and cut off her e-mail. It didn't phase me 'cause I spent willingly - she didn't steal from me. I accepted 2000/4000 in part because that is what my friend told me he paid 2 years ago. He was only a 1 timer and married now so Thailand forbidden, but I'm coming back with 2 friends so I need to brief them on this.

Ok, now I remember what happened and how I got stuck on B2000 ST B4000 LT. I did my internet homework, talked to friends, and even brought printouts of how much things are supposed to cost in Thailand, including P4P. Flew in too late the night before to hit the bars, so the next day I was soooo anxious to hit the bars I thought "screw dinner!" I just wolfed down a Number 1 from McDonald's and walked over to Nana.
It was only 7 pm. I looked around. The escalator looked kinda strange for a rickety wooden place like this, but I took it to the 2nd floor. Walking past Temptations, the girls outside started ushering me into their bar. An older lady outside, which I took to be the mama, said "You looking for girl? How about this girl" and she introduced me to a beautiful young innocent looking girl with baby soft hair. She was still in her civilian cloths and no makeup. WOW, this girl was cute! I said "Yes, I'll buy her a drink" and we went into the bar.
There were maybe 7 girls dancing on stage, and I was the only customer. My girl comes back with a beer and we have a sip together. I ask the girl how much for ST. "2000" she replies.
"How about 1500?" I said.
She mumbled something below her breath.
"You pay my barfine?"
"Wait, I want to drink. I just got here!"
I thought she wanted to go like right now, and I wanted to experience the barscene a little. I was still sweating from the walk over.
She mumbled something again that I didn't quite hear above the loud music. Then she said "I have to get ready to dance" and disappeared in the back somewhere. As I sat there, I looked at the girls on stage and they were all trying to make eye contact with me, which made me feel very uneasy. I sat there for maybe 10 or 15 minutes, but it felt like an eternity. I kept looking at the almost full girl's drink on the table, and my girl never came out. She dissed me! Why would she have to get ready to dance when there's already 7 girls on stage and I'm the only customer, plus I just bought her a drink? She must have not liked the B1500 offer. The going rate must be B2000 or take a hike!
I got mad, walked out, and sat on one of the chairs outside. I started complaining to one of the girls outside that the girl left me. "Aah!" she said, "That's my friend" and she ran into the bar. I started complaining to the mama that the girl ran away from me. Since mama was outside the whole time, she didn't know what happened and went into the bar.
I left and went on to G-Spot. Shit, I just missed out on a very pretty girl for B500. Now let's see, divide by 40, that's only $13! From that point on, I always thought it was B2000, no haggling, and whenever I offered B2000, there was no haggling.
As it turned out, she was the prettiest P4P girl that I met in Bangkok, but I screwed up. She will probably remember me when I go there again, so I'll have no chance with her. I'd even be willing to pay her B5000 ST once just to make it up to her. Amazing how one simple key piece of information can have such a profound effect on my trip. I walked out on 2 other girls that had to dance and left my table. Only on about the 5th day did I finally ask one of the girls what was going on.
Hence my original post, for newbies. Don't make the same mistakes I made.

Short time for me was always one pop, however long you take. I picked up a stunner once, but she was the 2nd worst pop I had.
