Also, I happened to have a situation similar to MS this weekend, during a weekend outing to Tijuana (Mexico). Checked into a hotel, and as I forgot to tell my bank, they locked the card when the first transaction from Mexico went through (as they should have).
Phone connections were a mess, and I wasn't interested in paying $1.99/minute for using my phone. Texted my assistant back in the states, explaining the dilemma. She called the bank. Sent back 4 texts with the questions from the bank, and I gave her the answers.
2 minutes later, everything was cleared up, my card worked again, and I had a great weekend (yummy latina chicas!).
So, I fail to understand why MS didn't have similar failsafe fallbacks set up (notice how the entire transactions to fix the problem did not require me talking). If my credit card failed to work in Thailand, I would make it my utmost priority to get the situation resolved, pronto.

I am probably somewhat dysfunctional. But...
Long story made as short as I can while maintaining clarity, the following happened. On Monday I was very much looking forward to meeting a deaf Thai gal, and since Taw turned out to be now located at a closed for the month club, that left Nikki at "one of the Living Doll places". I somehow worked myself up to really looking forward to meeting Nikki (don't know WHY now, I've never seen what she looked like, it was just a deaf gal that I was hoping to connect with).
On Sunday I went to Heaven's Above and scored. I probably should have gone to Living Doll 2 on Sunday, but that isn't what happened. On Monday I went to Living Doll 1 and found out that Nikki works at Living Doll 2 (which is actually called Living Doll Showcase on the sign). I went to Living Doll 2 and took a seat, and ordered a soda. One of what seemed to be three Mama-san came by and asked what I was looking for, and I said I was looking for Nikki. She was "Micky?", and that took a while to clear up, but finally she understood Nikki, and said she would call her, because she wasn't there yet. That Mama-san didn't come back for a while. Meanwhile I am fending off the most agressive waitress in Thailand, who was personally offended that there wasn't a second/third/fourth drink sitting on my table while I waited. Seriously, I have no desire to drink anything in these clubs, and only buy the first one as a fee for entering the club. I definitely wasn't going to buy another while waiting for the girl to show up. A second Mama-san came up and checked for what I was looking for as well, and when I said Nikki, she ALSO said she would go call her. She came back and said "She shower now, be here soon!" I do not have a watch, but based on the time I got back to the hotel, I would estimate I had been there for about 2 to 2.5 hours, before this gal in a red dress comes up with another gal, and announces that this gal was Nikki! First I was like, okay, cool, because after 2 hours of waiting, at last someone was there. But it was really fishy at first, because she (Nikki) was talking. I know I read that Nikki was deaf and MUTE. The first girl also was talking into her ear, and that isn't something that works on deaf folks. So I was quite suspicious, and kept asking "is this Nikki". The first girl kept saying "She is great at massages..." and then "you want her short time or long time?" Now I should mention that this woman was in her 40's, was about as overweight as I am, and nothing to look at. AND I was more and more convenienced that this was NOT Nikki. So, I said "Niether. I don't want to take her out, sorry." And the girl finally said "Okay, she isn't Nikki, sorry. We can't reach Nikki on her phone. She won't answer."
So, I left the place quite upset at Living Doll 2. They had me wait 2 to 2.5 hours while claiming she was either being reached by phone, then "in shower, here soon", etc... THEN they actually tried to give me a girl who wasn't Nikki, and on top of that, was very unattractive. So, I was not a happy bunny. I then went to Happy a Go Go, and didn't see anyone I wanted. It was a dumb idea to try Happy after I left Living Doll 2 because I was so upset that I probably wouldn't have been happy with Aya Ueto herself if she had been there.
So that, plus the fact that I was finding myself doing absolutely nothing in Pattaya as I waited for the clubs to open, lead me to come back to Bangkok today. Just had a great dinner, and am now going to look up the address of Emmuelle, and any other soapy type place. I will report tomorrow how it goes.
P.S. I don't have anyone in the United States I can use to phone anything. So, yeah, guess I am Dysfunctional, but that DOES mean I have no method of fixing this credit card problem until I get back to U.S. with their relay service (great service, absolutely wonderful, but they don't do international calls, so they just aren't available for me at this time).

P.P.S. Is there any deaf PROVIDER in Bangkok? I have found deaf stall folks (Suk between 3 and 11), but they mostly aren't gals, and certainly none of them are for hire. The only ones I know of by name from recommendations here are in Pattaya. I am still interested in meeting a deaf pro, if anyone feels inclined to writing their name here. Thanks.

Hey massageslave, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Of course, if they don't have the girl you want they will try a substitute to keep the business. I last saw Nikki a few months ago. She's 24, and mute as well as deaf.
Why don't you create a facebook account? I can give you Nikkys contact information and you can check out her picture and try contacting her directly if you so desire. She writes very well and I'm sure she would love to hear from you. However, she doesn't check her account daily so I can't guarantee she'll see your message before you leave. Sound like a plan?

I have just returned from the most awkward and embarrassing session of my life. From bkkz's comments a while ago, I am going to refrain from going in depth on details and won't mention her number. But it was so bad, the COMBINE mental dreaming of Reon Kadena, Aya Ueto, and Ai Shinozaki, in clothes or out, pregnant or not, nothing at all worked to keep my penis erect by the time this night was over. I actually pretended to get a pulled groin muscle. Sigh. NEVER going back to Emmeulle. Ever.
