I suppose there hangs a cloud over the mongering farangs.... Some farangs feel guilty about their lifestyle as if they cannot "overcome" their mongering ways. This so happens to be a result of popular majority pressures back in their homeland that teaches against such activity......... a monger. What conditioned your hearts to seek out the "forbidden"?.I think this can offer therapy for some of us who may have not overcome the "enemy" within.

This is a classic example of trying to apply a western moral value system to Thailand. It makes as much sense as measuring the weather using the exchange rate of the currency!
There is for example no Thai word for what American sex-workers would call a "john" or "monger". What Australians would call a "gutter crawler" has no translation to Thai. There are no "special" words for this behaviour because in Thailand this behaviour is not "special".
Men want to have sex often and will pay for the service - the Thais have identified a business opportunity and responded accordingly. No-one is going to point a finger and shout "Shame shame shame" when you leave the bar with your short time partner for the night.
The only way any of the opening post applies to you in Thailand is if you bring it with you. My advice is - don't.

Why worry about the folks back home, all the guys are jealouse all the women are nervouse end of story.
I introduced a divorced pal of mine to the pleasures of BKK, later at a family gathering his mother asked what he'd done on his BKK holiday and wanted to see his holiday snaps. lots of sniggering going on in the background which of course she didn't miss being a woman of the world.
She lent across to him and wispered 'just make sure you keep it well covered don't want any nasty suprises do we'
My daughters are a little worried that I might bring a step mother that is younger than them, I did point out that a young granny might be just the thing to dump the their kids with. They now keep asking about my GFs????????
