I assume.
rainbow 4 turns over 300K at good nights. barfines 100K, ld 100K, punters drinks 100K.
lets calculate friday saturday as good nights. average nights at 200K.
that leaves R4 with a 7 mio turnover. 4 mio is gross per month. investment and renovation costs would be back in 5 to 6 months.

166 barfines on 1 night? Hard to believe. I estimated 100 girls working. Some to double or triple bf a night but only a small percentage.
One girl told me that even on friday and saturday the majority of girls are not barfined.
Plus a part of the barfines goes into salaries (although maybe quite a good number of 'freelancers') and bonus payments.
But the investment is certainly coming back. R4 is getting my vote for being the best bar nowadays.

Not quite sure specifically of R4, but girls usually have to make their quota.
They can be either on:
- Salary basis Plan 1 (with quotas of 8-10 bf and 60-80 LDs)
- Salary basis Plan 2 (with no quotas)
Girls on Plan 1 get nothing of the bf until they go over their quota (usually 10 or so) and receive then 100 baht.
Girls on Plan 2 get nothing of the bf.
But these packages are of course dependent on the bar, but is a good staff of measurement.
Also 1000 LDs per night... seems execessive. But as I don't work at the register......

Last night R4 had 171 ladys working ( since R2 is now closed for remodeling) 136 bar fines. 647 lady drinks and customer drinks something over 920< he wanst finished till after I left adding up the customer drinks.
And just to add, NEP is not even in consideration of being closed this year or within the next 3 years. But I do see so many people on here that seem to have some inside info and I wont try to upstage them with mine. But how the hell did Bus stop bar being closed/relocated turn in to NEP is closing? thers 3 spots on soi 4 that a few companys took interest in on soi 4 bus stop, the 2 nd half of raja hotel ( were sin sits in). the parking lot, and hillary bar. They are in a straight line next to each other. only one that was set so far was bus stop and that is still only 75% certain. And I have say one thing about the comment that Rainbow would spend 20 mill bt to remodel, This Is Thailand Thai bar owners do not spend money on a bar that is going to close.Thais will not blow 20mill anything for nothing. Rainbow is remodeling because they do every 3-4 years and they want a more modern look, but if there was a chance of closing this year or next they wouldnt, R 2 is full as it is everynight. The 20 mill is for R1 R2 and R3 remodeling not R4 by the way.

I believe that the concern is that over the last 15 odd years we hear a rumor of renovation of this bar area or that bar area and next thing we know they disappear.
Not that there is much we could do about it if it were true.

Rat infested dump, if you ask me, and that's just the customer base. The skanks who ply their trade there will still be available to those that want them. They'll just shuffle off to some other outlet.
