I'm arriving in BKK @11:45pm on Monday, October 16th and staying at the Manhattan Hotel. Tuesday I'll be in BKK all day. In the morning I’ll purchase a roundtrip train ticket to Suratthani for Wed.-Sat. Don't have plans for Tues., but I'll check out Eden for sure. In the evening I'll interview girls @ Morning 2 Nite and Rainbow 4 for my Samui trip; I'd like to bring one along. On Wednesday evening my guest and I will catch the train to Suratthani. We'll arrive Thursday morning. Boats to Samui leave @ 8am. We'll be staying at the Weekender Resort & Hotel. Friday I've got a snorkeling/kayaking trip lined up through Lomprayah. They pick us up at the hotel @ 6:45am and drop us back @ 3:00pm.
Saturday evening we take the train back to BKK.
Sunday we arrive in BKK @ 5:35am. I’ll give the girl cab fare + tip, and then catch a cab to the airport. Flight leaves @8:25am.
I've been Thailand once before, and really didn't get around much as I was only there a few days, and not so much on vacation. I have done my research on this site- but you guys always have good tips and advice when a newbie posts. So how would you amend this itinerary? What would you do? How would you fill in the gaps? Thanks in advance!

Stay at Nana Hotel, or Dynasty across the street.
Definately Edens.
Try to stay with a girl a couple of days prior to the GFE, girlfriend experience. Hate to see you on the train, realizing you'd made a mistake.

Thanks! I appreciate the suggestion, although my stay at the Manhattan is already booked and non-refundable. Do you think It'd be wise to rent a motorbike while I'm in BKK, if I want to travel quickly btwn. NEP or Soi Cowboy & my hotel? If so, where can I rent one and for how much? And what about parking? I tried searching the forum on this topic and came up empty...

Your schedule of arriving late Monday evening and departing early Sunday morning gives you 6 nights in total, but in essence you are going to have only 4 full nights and 2 abbreviated nights. Just keep in mind that those short nights are not very useful.
I did a 6-night trip once few years ago -- stayed 2 nights in Pattaya and 4 nights in BKK. In that trip, time had gone by really quickly and I soon found myself in the departure terminal for the long journey back home.
If going to Samui, I would extend the trip by at least 3 nights to 9 nights ( or 9 days ). I've done such interview thing when bringing girls to beach resort. Need to be very careful in the screening and interview process. I'd rather allow more time to look for the right girl to bring along. Morning Night Bar at Soi Nana is a good place to start.
In short, I think that your schedule is way too rush and make it a very tiring trip.

I see your point, but I think I can make use of those 2 nights I'll be spending on the train-- unless I'm unable to get a 1st class sleeper... Does anyone think it's too short notice to purchase a ticket the day before? And about the motorbikes-- I understand they can be dangerous, but is it even possible to rent one in BKK? If so, where? Would it be easier to just take a taxi? Thanks
Wish I could stay longer, but I'm back to work Monday morning.

Do not even consider renting a motorbike in BKK unless you want your itinerary amended to read sent home in a body bag.
Take cabs, the skytrain or walk.

Listen to ThaidUp. He knows of what he speaks. Leave the bikes alone.
You might want to consider taking an Eden girl with you. It might be a tad expensive but the sex would be good, and, from what I have heard, a lot of fun besides.

Definitely leave the motorbikes alonein BKK. Taxi or BTS is the way to go.
Read the Eden thread for tips on maximizing the Eden experience. In particular, pay attention to the very first page in that thread. It sums up the 100s of pages on Eden.
