I work as hard as I can, put in lots of overtime hours, make as many $ as possible so I can get tired, sleep well and look at the bank account and think what I will do with it on the next trip.

That's what I did. Sold my house in Cali, packed everything I hadn't already sold or given away into 4 suitcases, and moved here.
