why dont rainbow get rid of number 3, it sucks in there. save your 110 baht.
why dont the girls that dont get a lot of barfines at rainbow4 go to short time at 1500 baht. which is better no barfine at 2k baht or one at 1500 baht.
is it a face thing? there were some damn ugly chicks in there last night, downright scary for rainbow 4.

Anyway im not worried about loosing my beloved temple as you put it.
Lets see in the last 7 years there have been rumors made by people about soi 4 beer bars closing to be made into hotels ( did not happen )
soi 6 bars on the corner of soi 4 being closed and made into hotels by the 'landlord" and the owners of the bars would be out on there ass without warning. ( Did not happen )
4 years ago N E P and soi cowboy to close everynight at 10 pm and all day sunday for the sake of thailands respect. ( Did not happen )
last year Beer bar rumors returning same story again, soi 4 and soi 6 bars being shut to put up a hotel, Bus stop bar, and Rajah hotel ( where sin and ball in hand are ) sold and to be torn down for exspresway acces. And ( did not happen )
Do you see a pattern yet? ( am I going to fast for you? )
Lets see now its NEP is closing without telling any of the owners and will be torn down for, what was it again a shopping center, right or do you mean your info is maybe 7 months old and are speaking about the Nana shoping center which just opened across the street from soi 4 on the corner of soi 3. do you think another shopping mall would make any money?
( so far non of the rumors have been true )
But lets be fair about it : If your correct Then I will invite you to my Bar and buy you not 1 not 2 but 12 drinks  , you will have earned it for researching all this info.

Just a follow up since I started this post!
I just heard from my TGF at Busstop that they will be closing for 3 months at the end of Sept.
Thanks to everyone who researched this thread and gave their input!

simple math:
why are the hotels doing well (if they are) along the sukhumwit/nana area? by and large because of the p4p action found at places like NEP.
tear down and replace NEP with a hotel? WTF? if this is done, I would suspect fewer tourists would want to book hotel rooms in that area. maybe my economics background is flawed...
there are enough hotels with 40-60% occupancy rates. what we need are larger quantities of hot women who do 1000-1500b/ST !

Might be time to tear down a hotel and build some new bars in order to tear down some bars to build hotels for punters who go to bars, or are there other agendae.
There have been a lot of vacant lots over the years where bars used to be. My great fear is that in the future they will try to corale bars into high rise like in S'pore. A stretch of the imagination...maybe
