Hey,
I am going to pattaya shortly for my very first time soon.
All over different boards when I read on the net there is talk about ringing the bell in the bars.
I assume that means if you ring the bell you buy drinks for other people.
But..
Is there a system to this as some posts would suggest?
Like ring once and you buy a drink for all around you.
Ring twice and you buy all the ladies a drink.
Ring three times and youbuy the whole place a drink.
Did I get this wrong?
Please explain, I really want to know

IMHO, but don't listen to me, listen to RTB
there is no system, you ring, you buy for everyone, all the customers and the gals, but them's the rules around these parts...45 minutes from Pattaya
oh, and the bells here have a phallic symbol as the ringer handle. Be careful not to bump it with your shoulder by accident, cause they can sometimes be mounted kinda low.

From what I believe is that if you ring the bell at all you buy lady dirnks for all the ladies working at the bar, it doesn't matter how many times you ring it.

Just be careful that after you ring the bell, all the bargirls don't come out of the woodwork. You might do a quick count and think your up for X number of drinks only to suddenly find your up for XX number of drinks.
I've rung the bell in Pattaya (twice actually), but I made sure I knew what I was getting myself into before each ring.
If you are unsure, speak to the mamasan/bar manager.

It is simple...
Every bar might have his own set of rules for this. Sometimes it is actually posted at some obscure place where close to nobody will see it.
In most bars, ring the bell and you pay a drink for all in the bar.

It is my opinion that ringing the bell is a complete waste of money. Or did you expect that all of the staff 'loves' you forever?
Better pick one nice girl and spent the money on her.

even the cheapie bargain hunter that I am, I have rung the bell a few times.
normally to buy a round for my mates actually, the gals do enjoy it as well though.
last time I did it purely for the galpal side of it was when there were three of us in the bar.
The gal who was about to BBBJ me, and the Cashier.
sort of like paying the cashier to look the other way while I was administered a nice BBBJ by a DD-cupper.
That was the one where my leg started to twitch and I nearly got a charlie horse when I came.
Should have rang the bell as I was cummin', as I was sitting right under it...

and what Isee is true, there'll be no one there, then you ring the bell and they jump out of the toilet and run across the street from the bar next door etc.

Bell ringing may make some feel like BMOC... "big man on campus", but I agree with Isee. You will never see as many people emerge from the woodwork as when that gong goes off!
I have done it few times and I swear people were running from Cambodia to get in on the largess.
My recommendation, find a BG with a 'bell' naval ring and ring that all night long!
