As a new comer to Thailand and in the process of buying my first computer, can any one offer me some advice / comments / experiences / on the following brands of computers, which are new to me here.
ACER, SVOA , BELTA , HP , BENQ , COMPAQ , also can any one comment about the pro's and con's of desk top / lap top computers...? also the best place to buy a computer for a newbie...? Thanks...

take a taxi go panthip plaza and ask the computer nerds there. also highly recommended comes fortune tower in rachada, next to the fortune hotel.
figure out the rest for yourself.
