Yep, the price is down to Baht 130 per piece if you buy larger quantities such as five, ten or more. And there are plenty of shops around, so you can bargain real hard. Now again I am having many DVDs to fill up these cold and boring evenings in Europe until my next trip to LOS...

One thing to remember also guys is that unless you speak Thai then make sure that any DVD's or VCD's you buy say Thai Subtitle instead of Thai Stereo. Peace

I imagine that you are speaking about VCDs, this is a very import point! As for the DVDs, I experienced that they are always having English sound and a selection of subtitles in different languages. I just love the English translation on DVDs, 555...!

You're correct brother Bandit, it is the VCD's. After that you start getting into the whole Region 0 or Region 1, PAL or NTSC format, version 1.1 or 2.0, mpeg 1, thing and it starts getting confusing. I even had to get rid of my old DVD player ( Old? I bought it 6 months ago ) and upgrade to one that supports NTSC/PAL so that I can watch my Thai disc. You should see the line up of remote controls I have. DAMN! I need a life  . Peace
