I am losing a lot of weight (on purpose). I am wearing a size 38 inch waist and may be a 32-34 by the time I hit Bangkok. I might need a "recut" of some expensive suit pants. Any reputable tailors out there in Bangers one could refer me to? I am looking at US$40 per pant here in the USA which is about 1700 baht per pair. Any that will do it for say 800 or so per pant give or take? I am looking at doing 4 pair of expensive suit pants.
Any help greatly appreciated.

All of the tailors can do alterations.. question is will they and I would imagine that they will as they have their own shops and have people that they pay whether they work or not.
Not sure about the price, but I would think that $17-18 should more than cover the cost .. you can buy a pair of custom made khakis for about that...
You might consider going in and buying a couple of suits in your new size .. they will have the measurements and then can alter the other pants.. you might get better service if you are a "customer" not just looking for the alterations??

Pants are very easy to alter ,I would not pay more than 200 baht per pair thats more than enough ,Jackets however are a different story.

Well contrary to popular belief, you must
1) Stop eating the bad foods. Eat 5-4 small meals a day consisting of about 200-250 calories each. Take away the saturated fats and COUNT your calories. (don't bullshit yourself 1000-1200 calories a day)
2) Get your ass in the gym and work HARD. Lift weights lightly or moderately. You mayl not see any serious size gains while you are dieting but you will see your self start to cut up.
3) When you work out always put 30 mins of cardio in there. My favorite is the stationary bike with back support. You should be covered in sweat when you are finished or you are not truly doing what you have to do in order to loose weight this quickly. Set resistance so you are working hard...
4) Once you see results do not "reward yourself" with your favorite meal. It is an ongoing thing and once a diet always a diet. Reward yourself after you final goal and hence ONCE a week. Meaning that favorite burger or rack of ribs... I still go to the gym and make myself pay for it with an extra 20 mins of cardio on top of the 30...
5) Rest for one week every 4-6 months to let your body fully recuperate.
6) This is NOT recommended for those over 50 years of age. (maybe even 45)
Thats my formula. Have I followed it to the t? No but I have for the most part and have noticed some nice changes...

On point (4):
I think you should "reward" yourself with a "fur-burger" instead of a ham-burger.  Just head out to Baron and get Saeng. That is a reward worth working for!
