I dropped by there....it took me 2 full days to cover the area. Having just got back into Bkk (4 of us)from a week in Sangkhlaburi's mountains and jungles, I cant begin to tell you how useful my Garmin V GPS (the others were using Magellan and Eagle) was to me at Chatuchak. We just locked our positions at the Clock Tower, went off on our own for the rest of the day and got back to our meeting point without wasting time getting befuddled on which direction to go.
Believe me, you can and you WILL get lost as the place is laid out like a crooked handle and the grids are confusing. For me...ogling (sometimes following) all the pretty girls and the merchandise pulled me hopelessly into the jigsaw mire.

well not just that,,,i marked down all my favorite stalls too the first day. Brought back more $$$ on 2nd day and went straight to them without getting lost or wasting time
btw, I've got a lock on all our favorite Suk, Silom, Ratchada, Patanakan area bars, MPs and other establishments. My brother will be borrowing it on HIS trip to Bkk come November.

Chatuchak is my favorite place in Los . I know that sounds bizzare but its true . Get into the area with fish and animals and you can find more than most zoos and aquariums have on exhibit . If you cant find what you are looking for there it probably doesnt exist .
