I read in my local papers that Siam Paragon Shopping Centre was opened on Friday 9 December 2005.
Anybody has more info on this and the exact location of the shopping centre ?

and a pain in the ass....a friend of mine yesterday took 6 hours to get her car out of the car park!!!.... (so she says....)

Yeah it has totally f***ed up the traffic. I dont see how Ploenchit which was already a nightmare, can handle the cars going in and out of the centre.

My TGF tells me, according to the pre-opening press, there is supposed to be some kind of underwater ride,  as she described it. I'm not sure if she was talking about a walk-through aquarium, or some sort of mini-sub/elevator.  She said she was going to attend the opening and I haven't heard from her since... okay, so who here is the culprit, lol??!!
BTW, given the remarkably high standards of building design,  I was wondering how foolproof a Thai version of an "underwater ride" would be.
