Hey all
What are the general shopping hours for the major shopping centres (MBK, WTC, Pantip etc..) particularly on weekends, do they open up as early as 9am?
I know markets and street stall can last well into the evenings, but do the major retail outlets have usual business hours?

Most shopping malls open 10am till 10pm, - although many of the stalls will close down around 8/9pm if few customers. At MBK, you can get into starbucks from the outside at 9, but have to wait till 10am to get into the main area, likewise starbucks at emporium.
As to a shopping Mall - and of course the associated TGs wandering about in them, if you have the time, and maybe are even on the lookout for a "Good" TG, who has a day job, probably worth paying the 100bt for a 20/30 minute taxi ride from Sukhumvit out to THE MALL-BANGKAPI, in the Rhamkhamheng area, this is a huge place, with few farangs around, and some VERY good sorts to be seen wandering around, especially on weekends - even the waitress i copped in Pizza company would have had no trouble earning her monthly salary DAILY in any MP !!

Takes one to know one 555 ! - Pity the urge has allbut gone these days, - but yes, some very tidy sorts parading around THE MALL, BANGKAPI, I noticed when out there on a job recently - Time you came back to check on some of them Mr Fresh meat ... I think you may be due for some of that
