Interesting.... why not stick to your mother tongue?
when I feel cheated or such, I swear at them in French... they know you said something bad from your tone but can't understand... so they don't really know how to react.
that happends very rarely though.... if you are in Thailand and are respectful,friendly and Patient, there is no need to curse

Instead of Ai you could use Bak. Ai can mean "brother" for Chiang Mai and Lao people, but "Bak" is more derogatory. Or so Mrs Shreddie tells me.
We have one or two bone idle Thai relatives that often have Bak preceding their names when Mrs Shreddie addresses them.

I usually save any bad language for the bedroom - whisper it in her ear and the right moment and enjoy feeling her jump. She didn't know I knew how to say THAT!
I can't say that I have never done it but I try to refrain from using Thai to insult Thais simply because I have seen how foolish non-English speakers look when they abuse others in English - like some parody of Monty Python’s French soldier to King Arthur "I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries". I just think that I will look foolish.
The best results I have had with putting rude Thais in their place has been to maintain my cool - out "jai yen yen" them - smile stay calm and be polite when they know they have been rude it can be very effective as you are beating them at their own game and they know it - an abrupt if not rude taxi driver in Penang (aren’t they all?) clearly didn't think I would notice that he was a Thai (inside his taxi looked like a Wat!) and as I paid him the agreed fare he had barked at us I was at pains to look calm, smile and say clearly a simple "Khob khun, khrap" - he jumped like I had zapped him with a cattle prod - I walked away smiling even broader as my traveling companion hissed in my ear "Jesus, WHAT did you say to him?"
That said I have been at pains to memorize Dr LOVE's "'thammai mai rien Kwai?' (Why don't you raise buffalo) line.
Also http://www.thai-language.com/id/141654 is worth a look if only to know what the BG's might be saying about us....That's MR "ai gaae huaa nguu" to you darling.

Some words I've come across which are not appropriate in normal society, are regarded as impolite, so used in intimate settings. Just what you're looking for.
f***, as a verb:
yet (probably the most common)
taek taek
bum bum (pron. as in bum, like a hobo)
bpee
Your phrase "that was a good f***" I find a little difficult because there are many possibilities. Maybe,
Nun bpen bum bum jaem jaem loey!
or,,,,, Oh, prajow! nun bpen ganyet sut yod!
She's a good f***, could be rendered
Kao yet geng di
even,
Kao sex geng
Lots of possibilities. This is an idiomatic subject of course, and spoken Thai is very idiomatic itself. So I'm sure some of other members can come up with more...

DR Love posted just as I did... mun (he spells man) means fun. His jet should be pronounced as yet of course. Ja?
..... I concur with his good definition of "oa" and "oagun" (doing sex together) - that can almost be polite enough in situations.

but then again, that sort of converstion will probably be spared for those of the bar generation anyway

Yet Maan = correct f*** = (that f*** hit's the spot)
maan is a Lao or old Thai word for "correct"
it's still used in Eesahn for Yes. They'll ask you "Maan Boh" meaning the same as "Chai Mai" in central Thai
or if you're in the Northern regions they'll ask "Maan Goh"
for me, if I want to say that a particular gal or particular place in LOS produces a lot of good f***s I use
"bPee Geng"
to refer to those folk

There is nothing wrong to learn Thai from BGs. I guess I did for a great part and I can use it occasionally outside the 'circuit'.
I also don't see where you get the double 'aa' from because it's a short sound.
I have no clue what it literally means, but it indicates something you really like (be it music, dancing or f***ing). It's something what excites you or gives you fun.

it's just that some of the terms SeaJohn was using, if they were used in mixed company, would get some pretty funny looks (and instant conclusions) from some people
maan with two As sounds like man, tan, ran
I use two As to indicate that it doesn't sound like rut or nut, because sometimes the U sound is transliterated as an A, but not by me
and I just told you what the literal meaning was
