Plenty of stories re similarities in the Thai language - currently a popular jingle on TV here lists the new Carabo Dang energy drink - a popular Thai country singer, Carabao - anyway, sound to me like the punchline is "NAHK SOUP POOYING YAI" - Now forgive my phonetics, a reason I seldom write/use them on ther forum, as everyones idea differs, I often have trouble deciphering a Forum members intend pronunciation, anyway, in the add, Nahk soup - refers to a soldier, and poo-ying yai, refers to a big heart/bravery - VERY similar, "Nahk soup"- is the word for detective - and "pooying yai," slightly different tone, means large Girl !! - My TG, OK, nowdays a Mum, has gone from 39kgs to 49kg - which i often point out - and so I regularly sing the jingle as the detectives wife is large ... which dosent go down well ...
