my last trip was for almost a month and my Hotel was 550Baht a night.
but i am a generous guy and my expenditure was around £3000 for the month,but as i say,i did'nt scrimp and save my money.
some days i would spend very little,others a fortune.
just depends on what you do each day and how many women take your fancy.
and my expenses did not include 8 times i went with friends without payment.

I was in LOS for 2 months, mostly in Samui and I am astonished at how much I ended up spending. I am sure if I did it again that it would be far less. Most came from inexperience

hi, i am going to Bangkok and Phnom Penh this December...i am bringing $4,100. but after taking off all my hotel, airfare, etc. i will have about $1400 for real FUN in Bangkok..and P.P....do you think i need more money or is it enough?

I spend a couple of nights with a girl from Long Gun having a great time. I gave her 1000B a night plus 2-300B a night at 711.
It all depends realy, act like an ass and you'll pay double the money, put on the right act/smile/face and you'll pay half while having a better time.
Most important though: A good night is a night where both walk away felling happy in the morning.

I guess everyone has different styles, but I budget as follows for myself:
Hotel - 1500 baht per day (inc taxes, service charges)
Food/Snacks- 750 baht per day avg (some less and some more)
Taxis - 200 baht per day
Drinks - 500 baht per day
P4P - 4000 baht per day (inc tips)
Then you need to budget some money for purchases of souvenirs, clothes, etc, that you want to buy. 7500 baht for the whole trip is usually plenty for this. Included in this are some anti-biotics for the 1-gram anti-gonorrhea shot I take as a precaution upon departure.
Obviously, the amount for hotel and food depends on what you want; you can get by with less if you need to.

This will be my 4th trip to LOS, but first posting.
My question, I realize, is an "up to you" kinda question/response, but I'd like opinions. I will be traveling to BKK in September (arrive in time for RT-on Sept.17 7pm Bamboo bar / right?). :bdsmile:
My choice is 6.5 days in BKK with a budget of 9,600 baht a day (not including hotel-separate money) or 8.5 days with 6,900 baht per day. 
The girl I'm currently keeping in touch with works at bar with 600 bht barfine,last time with her only 2 days it was 2,500 LT from 6pm til next day 6pm/24hours=5,000bht total.
Should I try to talk her down since I'd like to stay with her?
Or make her decide?
Stay short time in BKK and enjoy my spending? Or stay longer and "hold my ass" with my $$?
Am I in love? Maybe.
Tha could be the problem.....
Just wanted some opinions?

I am traveling ALONE and looking forward to using subway.

If you are going to stay with her for the whole trip and it is the slow season. IMHO you should be able to get a discount. I would think 1K should make her happy.

Anakin, you will really have to use the force to keep up with such budget in BKK!!!
We are talking about what, 900 baht/day for 8 days or 1600 baht/day for 8 days.....
Ok, provided that the P4P is settled for free (not confirmed yet!), what about food&beverages? Transportation? Entertainment? Miscellaneous?
If you can do that, you surely have been a padawan of Master BigDusa!

go for 9 days with 6900 bahts a day, my problem in Bangkok is allway Not enought TIME, money is not a big deal there.
Caronte : I think you did not noticed he sayed his budget was PER DAY
