It saddens me that guys here get insulted by these words I write, but I would also hope it adds another protective layer to one's skin regarding these girls. Hell, Stickman wrote a lot of negative things about BGs here and I just thought he was a guy who saw it like it was, not like how others wanted him to see it.
Somehow you still think that people had a problem with the basis of your message. IMO that was not the problem. The problem was the tone you projected, along with a smug and insulting writng style.
Your message was not new, informative nor illuminating.
You wonder why everyone is focusing on the messenger instead of the message? Easy. Your "I'm in on the game of fleecing you suckers" method was very ineffectual because it made people ask "Why would a perpetrator tell the sucker he is the sucker?" You then compound you ineffective method with " I am just joking, are you people too dimwitted to figure that out?" along with the cliche "I am Superior man with better looks, intelligence and life successes than all of you"(do you know how many times guys on this board here that one?).
In order for the message to be accepted and effective the messenger has to project some form of credibility. You failed the credibility test and guys picked up on that. Your fatal flaw was that you did not understand your audience.
Goodness, if you just presented your point in the clear and concide manner you have taken to explain yoursef in the last couple of posts, I am sure your message would have been accepted and appreciated.

You have zero credibility and have added absolutely no new info or opinions on this topic so far. Your ideas are very simplistic and ill-formed; I'd say you're about at stage 3 out of 10 on the path most farang go through in understanding and dealing with bargirls. You've gone past the infatuation and rose-tinted glasses and have completely swung around to the point where you want to generalize all of them as liars and whores and that all the guys giving them money are old fools. In the later stages of this journey you'll understand it's a lot more complex than that.
The other guys have responded to the more ridiculous parts of you posts, but they have a tendency to coddle idiots and assholes.
If you want to be taken seriously on this board, I suggest you kill off MX31 and come back as a more well-behaved, rational poster. You'll still be an asshole, but if you try hard you can keep it under wraps.

Well, since you seem to want to personally attack me, I will return the serve and respond. I was going to bail on this thread as people were just getting way too serious over themselves. But, you made it personal...so let's have some fun...... 
I see that your numerous posts (what, around 1,000 Chompoo) and other reasons known only to yourself seem to make you the "resident" expert here. Well, stand up and be proud. Hmmm...'I' have no clue? If that is so, then you are first in line in that department. I really do not take bar girls all that seriously and certainly nothing on this thread seriously at all. It was fun for sure, which is all I hope to get out this this board.
(Yes, this board is entertaining and good at it).
I enjoy the friendly banter, but it seems that you want to make it personal. So be it, if that is what makes you feel better then go ahead and call me names all day, I am glad to help out your self esteem problem.. I won't stoop to calling someone these all so hurtful names (I think "idiot" and "asshole" was your wonderfully elaborate terminology...bravo! You impress me). Get over yourself and maybe if you spent less time on the computer and more time in reality, you would feel better about yourself and feel less inclined to attack others who YOU have no clue about. Regarding gneralizations, see my previous post which defines the use of generalizations regarding human behavior (the statistical significance post) so I have science backing my generalizations. Maybe spending a number of years doing human behavior studies...oh, and my work being published in international psychiatric journals, might just support my use of these methods. I cannot help if you disagree with these scientific methods, you are totally entitled to your opinion. But, according to you, I am not entitled to mine. Hmmmmm.

Very good post Chompoo. Quite accurate I'd say; definitely about stage 3.
I always like these defenses:
"This is a board for losers." (Says the guy who is typing on this board).
"I don't take anything seriously on a board about prostitution." (Says the guy who triews to get people to take him seriously -- on this board.)
Both of these were favorite themes of BigOne. And then when there is no way to defend the position we have what I like to call The Nokna Defense:
"I was joking and I am amused that people take it seriouisly." (Again from the guy who tries quite hard to get people to take him seriously.)
Loved the bit about his scientific methods. Quite funny. I guess that was more of the part where he was just saying some bullshit to get people's attention or trying to be funny?
I'll save you the trouble MX; with my number of pposts I'm the biggest loser of all. And I "...doth protest too much.." indeed.

Let's see MX. You spent 90% of your post in a personal attack against me and my characterization of you as an idiot and an asshole. Only 10% of your post was spent on countering the claims I made against you.
You seem to think it is my intent to ridicule you in new and creative ways. That's not my job, Sauron filled that role well before I got here. My job is to lay out for you in excruciatingly obvious detail why you are such an idiot and an asshole, which I have done. What is the point in coming up with new terms when I've found two that sum up your character so succinctly?
Seriously, what would be the point of sending a PM to an idiotic asshole? That would only waste my time. I post in public for two reasons. One, I want everyone else to be absolutely clear of your nature; I really don't expect an asshole, let alone an idiotic one, to admit that to himself. Two, I give a chance for intelligent people to question my analysis; again I can't expect you to defend yourself adequately.
You may have been too dense to notice that I do not make wild personal attacks against people. I use only the facts in evidence, that is what you've said about yourself and the incredibly inane way you've presented yourself. I see that the bulk of your criticism against me is that apparently I've made too many posts on this board and that that somehow is meaningful to you.
But I do admire that you managed to eke out a response to one of the eight or so criticisms I had regarding your intelligence and character. We can just stick to arguing this one if that is easier for you (I made the same offer to others, so I think it's fair).
So let's see, your argument is that these "studies" allow you to make broad generalizations? No one has doubted that there is a statistically significant number of bargirls who are willing to cheat an overseas sponsor. And you will definitely have no problem finding lots of people here who will agree that blindly sending money to a bargirl is foolish. However, no "scientist" would make the gross generalizations and condemnations that you have made. The fact that even 90% of the girls are lying, thieving whores as you suggest, does not invalidate the fact that there are 10% honest girls and that some guys have made it work.
Statistically, BG marriages tend to fail. That certainly does not give you the right to come in here and start haranguing those who have done so successfully.
You know statistically, 70% of all farang residing in Thailand are losers who couldn't make it with attractive women in their own country. So, by your logic, I can conclude that you are such a loser. This is no less valid than your wild, untargeted accusation that you were sleeping with "my" girl while I'm sending her money.
It does really bug me when people try to pass crap like you've done as real science. You tarnish all the good behavioral scientists who carefully choose their words and avoid such gross errors.

Why are you participating if you insist on insulting the whole board with such an assertion? And this board is indeed not a noble calling or of any great significance in the grand scheme of things -- but why are you here?
As you have never actually responded to any of my points other than to cast more unpleasantness about -- and actually I'm quite grateful for the lack of dialogue (or abuse exchange) with you -- I don't expect you to respond to this one. I'd just as soon have you continue to ignore me if you can't respond reasonably and rationally...
Though I would still like to know how you can justify the comment about 90% (or whatever your scientific data was) of Thai parents teaching thier kids to be successful prostitutes. Or do you care to retract?
