The most I ever carried in cash was $16,000. I had to borrow 500 baht to pay my airport tax when I left 17 days later.

I never used anything else than a MAster Card andf a few hundred USD in cash. NEver had a problem so far. Can this be a problem forinstance in Pattaya??
