Now something in the back of my mind tells me that France/Spain and a few other nations pulled out of the coalition a long time ago, maybe they got cold feet. Strange that Australia is still there and has only last week told 450 commandos to pack their bags and head to Afghanistan.
So I just cannot figure out why large populous countries have fled and aussies that started with the USA/UK are sending in more troops. Hmmmm.
Lot of water under the bridge since early 2005. Now let me see, where is that dollar going too.

The project was officially killed, and made impossible to pursue further, originally under the Jimmy Carter administration.
The neutron bomb *does* exist (or rather, did exist beyond that time frame), as the last was dismantled in 2003 (as ordered by George W. Bush).

Perhaps because I have no more tolerance to this medieval hogshit. Its not only in their own shithole countries now but brought to ours. We just shook off the grip of the catholic church after hundreds of years of repression and bullshit and now these motherf***ers climb from under a rock and want to take things back to the year dot. This religion and the countries supporting it are really a terrible mistake so like the dinasaurs wipe them out and start again.
Ignore at your peril, human beings do not chop off hands and feet, or heads in public, this is lower than animals and gives sick a new meaning. Such societys dont deserve to exist in the modern world and like a cancer should be eradicated. Like putting a sick animal to sleep.
Politicians in europe have given our countries over to barbarians, its said in 50 yrs Islam will be the main religion in europe thanks to such stupidity.

barrafish, the idea was to give you a flavour of the (unsatisfactory, from my point of view) commitment of Europeans to Iraq war. To show the great number of countries that participated under the American command, their troops and military assets deployment on the ground (and the fatalities suffered) and economic contribution to the cause. Yes, a lot of things have moved since then (mostly for the worse, see sunni-shia civil war), and many EU countries have withdrawn their contingents, but still retain economic and (shaky) political support. Part of the reason of them getting "cold feet", as you succinctly put it, was that some suffered massive suicide terrorists attacks (see train bombings in Madrid before general elections - almost 200 people died and suicide bombing on the Italian HQ in Nasiriya - 17 troops died) but also more importantly is because Western Europe has a massive Muslim population, projection for 2006 census is in excess of 15m (almost 70% of OZ population) and that has a significant impact on their foreign politics. A time bomb waiting to explode. That also partly explain why France never participated to Iraq war (you wrong there mate) as they have well in excess of 4m muslims, accounting 7% of their population.
Having said all of that, I still believe Europe should have done more to support America in Iraq and the war on terror in general. Regarding Afghanistan and aussie (derisory) troops engagements, it's a different proposition. Now the current engagement is primarily NATO (which includes several European countries) effort, led by America. You guys never played any significant role in it and just stood by at USA/UK (your masters and creators) beck and call and until you were "ordered" to increase your troops number by a massive deployment of 450 heroes, which is btw only speculative number and yet to be approved by Australia Federal government. Wow, I can already see Taleban forces quaking in their boots. 
Back to more mundane things, how was Songkran's vivacious celebrations (23 people died in UDT alone) in your neck of the wood? You haven't been driving a scooter, have you? Lots of slippery roads at that time.

I understand that, and agree - my question was why waste time and effort to give them a choice between giving up Allah or dying? It's pointless, just wipe them all out, and be done with it. Those who will lie about giving up Allah (as they are allowed to do, according to the Q'ran) will only lay dormant, and rise back up... Just avoid all that fracas, and do it right the first time.
..is all I'm saying!
