I think DG is right about gold.
It is only going to higher IMHO.
The more the yanks keep printing money the higher the gold price is going to go.
No safety in the US dollar and with that the Aussie dollar is probably going to keep getting higher as it is a commodity based producer and seen as a bit of a safe haven.
I have some good Aussie gold stocks as they are way underpriced at the moment.
Try Silver Lake SLR good gold producer, no debt, production costs 500 an ounce share price quite low. My value at current gold prices closer to 4 dollars trading at 2.20 odd I think.
Ramelius ASX RMS is also very good value.
You should hedge any investment strategy with some good gold stocks in this environment.

Qantas have outsourced for years - this is just a further step-
I dont fly them because I am offended by near middle aged flight crews who are rude and unattractive- and over weight often.
I like little bodies on the much younger asian woman (thai airways - or singapore airways) that I imagine arse f***ing as they politely serve me- and smile and look happy to have a position
Its a Bad airline that less than 20% of Australians use to leave Australia with-
It does however maintain the record as only major airline on the world stage not to crash-

Regards the High Australian dollar it is hurting many sectors of the Community-

Think Again- Qantas is aiming to expand into the lucrative asian markets - with a base there-
Unemployment is steady at just 5% (go compare that with north america and/or european countries ) It also has low debt-
And though like all economies it is sensing a down turn- the markets are doing well when compared to other economies-
If your going overseas- to lets say Thailand- and you like purchasing girls to suck your dick and f*** every which way- and you happen to be flying in from Australia - then its still a good scene
